- amandaw33, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12FYI, this site is the old amazoncreditsyou.com -- which I know was on digg's homepage over a year ago.

I wanted to get the new link out to the digg community, and also I assume there are new diggers that have joined in the last year that might not be aware. Recently, this site saved me $10 as 12 month xbox live card dropped in price - WhiskeyDrinker, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10I prefer http://priceprotectr.com/
Better interface, and I know the guy who wrote it. Worth checking out if you are concerned with saving money (and who isn't?). - profOblivion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Don't suppose there's one for amazon.ca, or will this one work as well?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I can not for the life of me find out how to do this on Amazon. Something I recently bought dropped 20$ the day after, and I have never seen this service before. I would hide it too to save money if I were amazon. Anyone could link to the whereabouts?
- reddave, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I'll add amazon.ca support for http://www.priceprotectr.com . Someone also recently requested amazon.co.uk. Look for the additions tonight or next week (i'm away in tahoe this weekend, so if I can't get it done this evening it'll have to wait till then).

You are absolutely wonderful :) Thank you. - amandaw33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you need to request a refund you need your order number (copy from your order history first), then you can use this link
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/returns-and-refunds.html/
Explain you bought the item less than 30 days ago and now their price is cheaper. You can also call 800-201-7575 if you want.
I got my refunds I requested yesterday within a few hours, 2 9.98 ones for XBOX Live cards I bought and 2.50 for The Wire 3d Season. I assume it's not all that uncommon for prices to go back down after Christmas (lower demand) so you might want to check if you bought any gifts on Amazon. Nice to get back ~$22 for very little work - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Google already does that for your ads. It's too late to be paranoid!
- uncleLeo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i've used this for over a year, i've gotten about $50 back altogether, and never spam from them
- YmerejO42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2First time I ever bought something from Amazon.com, but I just got a $1 refund... Watching the price to see if it drops any more, and now that I know about that, I'll be buying more from them.
- michaelb1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks for the page. This would have saved me a couple hundred on my new Sony SXRD 50in screen had I known about it 2 months ago.
I will mos def use it. - smolek5228, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great site. I used this for my holiday shopping and got $25 back.
- YmerejO42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just remember, when you call and explain that the price dropped, they're not going to volunteer to give you the refund, you have to ask about the 30-day price guarantee.
- reddave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1amazon.ca and amazon.co.uk support is up. If you notice any problems retrieving prices with them, please send an email to the address on the site. And I just made a best guess as to where to go to request a refund (on the non-.com sites), so if anyone knows for sure, let me know!
- amazingrefund, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.amazingrefund.com - same concept, point and click interface.
- Ace1985, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why Amazon Sucks!!!
http://www.digg.com/tech_news/Amazon_com_Closes_Seller_Accounts_and_Keeps_the_Money - grantmiller, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3This will be great, thanks for the repost
- stupidfathead, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Maybe I am just paranoid, but I would not allow a third party site to track my purchases at all.
We already suffer enough from our privacy being invaded and our personal information being bought and sold like a commodity without our proper consent or knowledge.
If I buy a book on say, hunting, and another on how to handle a small water craft and say a third on barbecuing, it won't be long before I start getting ads for fishing rods, guns, tires for my 4x4, camping gear etc. Just because the spam does not come from the site you sign up for does not mean that they won't sell you like a cheap whore. My identity and personal preferences are not for sale and will not be easily given up to save $50 - rrasco, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2nifty stuff. does it cost anything to participate?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2So we should all just start posting plugs for our websites here since all of our site provide some valuable server or another?
I kinda like:
www.presenternet.com
It's not mine, but hey, since we're plugging sites now on Digg...
(sarcasm) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Wow, no link. Silly me.
