* The RIAA wrote the Bill.
* The Senator has limited knowledge of the workings of the Bill.
* The Senator is not that familiar with the issues in depth and uses the 'internet' for email and Ebay and not much else.
* Both the Senator and the Lobbyist equate unpaid for downloading of copyrighted material as the moral equivalent of shoplifting books from a bookstore.
