Second look: NBC Direct still a Disappointment

arstechnica.com — When NBC Direct debuted as a beta last November, we weren't exactly enthusiastic about the service in our hands-on test. As a standalone download service encumbered by extremely limiting DRM and a handful of content, we (like many others) were barely able to get NBC Direct up and running, let alone able to download any content.
