- mad228, on 05/22/2008, -0/+3Thanks for the comment "sultanica". At first glance it does come off that way (chat) but as you dig into you will see that its and event based platform that allows you and your friends collaborate on it by adding not only text but YouTube embeds, images and links in real time. And unlike chat, anyone can watch the event unfold, not just the ones you are chatting with.
- shankarganesh, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2now i no longer need to press F5 innumerable times! thanks scribblelive.
- tetfsu, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2I gave this a try, it is really REALLY nice. Here's the test page.

- tetfsu, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2maybe not *new* features, but its a fresh look at live blogging. I hope they have an API that can be used by other sites. I would love to see some of my fav sites use this for their live blogging.
- jggube, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2This is a cool concept that makes blogging all the more accessible to the public. For some reason it reminds me of Live Journal.
- mad228, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Forums are basically open to any one who is registered. We are not a form. Because ScribbleLive is event based you invite 1, 2,...10 friends to collaborate on the live event via a browser, email, or mobile device. Meanwhile 1000's of people watch that live blog in real time without refreshing the screen. I suppose you can try to use a forum as a live blogging platform but I have never seen one use in that capacity.
I suppose it is as much a forum as Twitter is a Chat. Anyway thanks for the comments.
Cheers - mad228, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Thanks tetfsu,
We are working hard at a great embed function so you can go to your favorite blog, like TechCrunch and watch the live event right in their post. :-) Look for it sometime around mid to late June.
Cheers - ivanreel, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1This is sweet. Been looking for a tool of this kind for awhile. Wondering who was going to do it first. Turns out the garage style software innovations are not dead. Thanks! A better twitter that lets me submit rich media cool!
Ivan - sultanica, on 05/22/2008, -1/+2um its neat but after playing with it a few minutes, isin't it basically just a chat or message posting application?
There doesn't seem to be anything *new* that it offers. - Noodlie, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I just tried it and it really is live. sweet!
- jackmack, on 06/09/2008, -0/+0Very impressive. This application has endless possibilities.
