Samsung ordered to pay Pioneer $59.3 million in patent case
tcmagazine.com — Wrapping up a two-year legal battle, a jury in the United States District Court in the Eastern District of Texas has ruled in favor of Pioneer in its patent case against Samsung. Filed in the fall of 2006, the lawsuit saw Pioneer accusing Samsung SDI of infringing two of its plasma display technology patents.
