- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0samsung? i personally would never buy anything from samsung again. unless if its memory, they make fast memory for video cards, and reliable memory for desktops. I used to have a samsung dvdrom, it died in 6 months, and a hard drive that lasted 2. I would rather go nec, liteon on the other hand is an OEM brand. for instance my single layer liteon drive is a rebranded sony. right now im wondering how much hd-dvd discs (if the format dispute ever ends) are gonna debut at?

- noll, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I use +R exclusively and never had a problem playing them on anything. From standalone DVD players to cheap portable ones with their own LCD screen. DVD-R is more compatible, but anything made in the last few years should be just fine anyway.

In fact, call my cell, send me an email, sms, and voicemail, leave a sticky on my monitor at work, bang on my bedroom window at any hour, and drop leaflets on my front yard. I want cheap dual layer media. Until then I'll just burn two single layer dvds.
