  • johndrinkwater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So, one person pissed off at Freenode can cause all this fuss ? I've been a happy member of Freenode for ages, and I remember Patrick's pointless mails to the LKML, libSDL, and god knows which others. It wont change my opinion.
    I guess you're annoyed that no one is listening to you Patrick?

He's the same person who has been spreading a rumor that I bought a Ford Explorer with my PDPC salary (instead of eating and paying the rent? :) :) and the same person who spammed FOSS community mailing lists with his distorted view of freenode Tor policy last year:

  • micksorenson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I have to agree with Diablo on this one. Lilo (aka Rob Levin, aka somegeek), hides behind an innocent facade to get away with what he does. On IRC, lilo has said that everyone knew that the April Fool's attack on OFTC was an April Fool's joke... except he sidesteps the fact that the network got a sudden flood of unwanted users.

    I say its time to call for new leadership of Freenode and PDPC. He has abused the public enough. Can't the other two board members call for a vote of no confidence? Or can this be initiated from the outside (maybe by a majority of people who donate?)
