- Satanael, on 10/10/2007, -2/+30How exactly do you choose which words to capitalize?
- jordanhass, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27No mater how awesome revision 3 shows are, they still have yet made a "Screen Savers" like show. I hope Tekzilla will fill in that void that was left when G4 decided to use a different Kevin to host it.
- rayjay2380, on 10/10/2007, -4/+28Well I'm sad to See In digital Go Bye Bye! I hope this Show Will be Awesome.
- tdous, on 10/10/2007, -6/+26Is there one for people who don't want an iPhone at all?
- treelovinhippie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18They're phasing out InDigital??
I hope all the guys get absorbed into the new show. - derekivey, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17I'd like to see Hahn move over, he's a great host...
- justinjacobs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8For people in the US that want to check out The Lab with Leo, there's http://downthelab.com/
- Torx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I miss Wil Weaton
- yabos, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9It sounds a lot like Call For Help which morphed into The Lab with Leo Laport that we get here in Canada on G4 Tech TV Canada. You guys in the US don't get it but it's similar to what I hear the Screen Savers used to be like, and also what this show sounds a bit like. There are viewer calls for tech questions, different tech segments etc. The Lab with Leo is actually a great show, the best one I've seen so far out of any tech shows on regular TV.
- rayskin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Sad to see InDigital go away. It was one of the few revision3 shows that was actually updated on a regular basis Here's hoping this new show becomes a TSS clone and fills the void we've all been feeling for the last 5 years.
Jessica can be a bit annoying she tries to put to much attention on herself. Yes Jessica, we know you have boobs, but this is a geek show and geeks can see boobs anywhere on the internets. We come to rev3 for tech stuff and geek culture.
On a side note hope Hahn Choi has a spot somewhere on the rev3 team, always enjoyed his segments. - keithmcbride, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4he's always been great, even when he was just doing small stuff on TechTV
- Shorties, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Yeah I think that is the goal of this show.
- tryferos, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4What about Hahn Choi and Wil Wheaton? Are they going to be regulars on Tekzilla? I hope they are not just being let go because of Patrick.
- tryferos, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Actually, both the hosts of Windows Weekly (Paul Thurrott and Leo Laporte) have iPhones, and they have talked about it.
- kris33, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Tekzilla video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vrCSF4wSFY - derekivey, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Yup, I'm going to miss InDigital as well :(
- Satanael, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Because they're not going to try and jerk our chain, apparently. Not all of us are begging for an over-hyped sales pitch.
- SoCalMario, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I'm glad to see some structure on Revision3, so far all these shows (some good/some bad) are all scrambled variety. I was waiting for a show that wasn't pod-cast like. IMO, some (not all) should resemble a little bit TV like. Hey, why not test out different formats. I see this as a plus. And for all you whiners, be happy that most tech TV personalities are coming back together!! They need to get Leo to join. And they also need to bring back hotties like Victoria Ricano, and Sumi Das!!!
~mario - Supermoose37, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This sounds cool. Especially if InDigital becomes a segment within Tekzilla.
And another thing, Has Patrick ever had a female co-host? - grifta67, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3eh, she's a sweetheart, but Jessica just seems like a dope quite often on inDigital. Maybe this format will let her shine more.
- SPARTACVS, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They want people to watch the whole thing regularly...
- victorc26, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Freak double post
- V1ncent, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Hopefully Robert Heron moves to Rev3 and does a show with Patrick again
- KibibyteBrain, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Plus, it seems like Rev3 got stagnant for awhile there. Show releases started sorta drifting away into almost random, and sometimes almost never type timings. Now it seems like Rev3 is getting serious again about not just being another web 2.0 company using VC funding to keep away from "real world" jobs, but really trying to do something new. The weekly schedule is good for viewers, the GigaOm show is probably the first Rev3 show I could actually see going on Cable TV without seeming too low quality production wise(that that shows that don't meet this criteria aren't good in their own way, but its a good sign), and a move toward "HD" distribution for people who want to watch it on their HDTV without VHS like quality.
But the more the merrier. Revision 3 isn't quite at the level yet where I'd(I being a poor engineering student) pay...err... donate for a subscription, but its getting close. Before I was actually doubting the future of the company, but with the new System weekly, Martin's show actually seeming to try to stay afloat, and of course standards like Diggnation in the can, it might just make it. Rev3 will just have to now keep with making the tough decisions to phase things out when they don't really make it, so they can direct more energy toward new ideas. - Eminemdrdre00, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I always got the impression Patrick didnt really like Robert. They had strange chesmistry on DL.TV but I am a Robert fan, he appeals more to the hardcore tech fan.
- Corey1982, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Sad to see InDigital go away but, I'm exited about TekZilla! It sounds a lot like The Screensavers!
- victorc26, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If that site is providing what I think it's providing, you are my hero. :)
- trunkster, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1http://lwltorrents.lwltracker.info/bt/lwlstats.php
Most likely the source where the episodes are coming from. I don't believe Rogers Media minds this, the link is from leo's website ^_^; - Rustymetal, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I totally forgot about Sumi Das! she was fine!
- RavagesOfTime, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm amazed that we still 'bring back' posts whenever there's a new Rev3 show or Leo has something new. I mean, I thought we were all smart enough to find Chi-Lan Lieu and Laura Swisher (just the two I searched for) ourselves.
- unitedstatians, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If I wanted a "TV-like show", then I'll have to undust my Television to watch NEXT on CNN.
- SPARTACVS, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Well, that Halo 3 Hoedown DID say that once Halo 3 launched on tuesday (along with other things like a cure for cancer and world peace) that Wil Wheaton would stop his blogging. Close enough.
- unitedstatians, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You can always befriend him. http://www.digg.com/users/wilwheaton
- Dolomite, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1sounds cool. would be interesting to hear kevin rose's take on it though.
- NewsBandit, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Anyone else disappointed in the 30 minute run-time?
- Trunks4191, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2stole the name from a song written by Common and produced by Hi-Tek. They should sue.
- jazzyinco, on 10/10/2007, -5/+5A show that wants to be "approachable" doesn't call itself Tekzilla. That just sounds like a marketing disaster.
- granitemouse, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Let's just say that even though Indigital is ending it's relationship with Revision3, there is a good chance that it will eventually resurface elsewhere. Revision3 demanded that the show be entirely moved to San Francisco, or it would no longer continue. It is somewhat ironic since G4 demanded that the TechTv shows be moved to Los Angeles, only to be fazed out anyway.
- imjohn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Ummmmmm. Victoria Racano.
- chyya, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1tila tekzilla
- wush, on 10/10/2007, -7/+6needs more robert heron
- kris33, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1The woman does at least.
- PackerFan, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Has my vote for worst name ever...Also, should be an hour long, 30 min. is just too short...InDigital was one of my favorite, sad to see it go...
- trunkster, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Yep, it's called Windows Weekly
- Midcen43, on 10/10/2007, -4/+0sounds like alot less diggnation and more screensavers -ish w/e it is they better keep diggnation
- SPARTACVS, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1Well I don't like him a whole lot personally because he treats anything Sony like the second coming of jesus, but I can also see why other (non Xbox fanboys) people wouldn't want to watch him.
- PackerFan, on 10/10/2007, -6/+0The world needs less RH...That guy is unwatchable.
- pantload, on 10/10/2007, -11/+1Cool, maybe this means Patrick Norton will have less time to be on TWiT. Maybe he's the nicest guy in the world IRL, but on the air, he is one whiny, say anything to appear hip, opinionated but don't know a whole lot douchebag. Hopefully Leo will bring the InDigital people on as guests.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -12/+1Just curious, why would you call a show you are promoting standard?
- Adrianc333, on 10/10/2007, -17/+4***** TEKZILLA!
Get working on thebroken!
