This was a case where MediaSentry's "investigators" flagged an IP address on Kazaa, with a pretty unique screen name. They then sued, and dug in their heels when evidence was presented that they had misidentified the culprit. This even after a forensic exam of her computer turned up zero evidence of any infringement, and other credible evidence was presented as to whom the should have been suing.
They even had their attorneys try to talk to her kid at school under false pretenses.
Tanya Anderson has a suit against the RIAA that threatens to be particularly nasty to them. She's alleging RICO violations and damages for the emotional effects of their arrogant suit.
