/Sean Connery SNL - bdurkin, on 10/11/2007, -5/+157"What is the sound a dog makes"
"Mooooooo"
"That is incorrect"
"Well that's the sound your mother made last night" - JD52, on 10/11/2007, -4/+111"I'd like The Rapist for $500"
- mikeybikey, on 10/11/2007, -2/+107What's the difference between your mother and mallard with a cold?
Ones a sick duck and I don't remember the rest but your mother's a whore. - eatsleeptrumpet, on 10/11/2007, -2/+72BAM! NOW WHAT, *****?
- ginrummy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+71"Ruff"
"Ah, just the way your mother likes it, Trebek!" - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+67Maybe this will set a precedent.
- swanny89, on 10/11/2007, -2/+65Under what letter in the dictionary does the word "cat" come?
I believe that would be in the r's Trebek.
No Mr. Connery, not in the r's.
That's not what you mother said last night Trebek! - gonknet, on 10/11/2007, -8/+67Same thing like 6 down on the front page.
- pigfister, on 10/11/2007, -6/+55I'm sure emi (capitol) don't care too much they will continue their blanket lawsuits in the name of the recording artists! lets hope more artists use Prince's method for distribution and forget the capitalist record companies! http://business.guardian.co.uk/story/0,,2114557,00.html

- MrSmiley909, on 10/11/2007, -2/+47Dug because the title did not round the amount.
I love $.23 - Beelzebub, on 10/11/2007, -4/+49Better
B-E-T-T-E-R
Better - Worldchrisis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+45Ms. Foster had submitted other miscellaneous fees, a majority of which were copying and printing documents, which totaled $4,013.68. However this was disputed by the plaintiffs, as they point out that charging $1.50 per printed documents was excessive. The court agreed with the recording industry, and granted only $0.20 per page.
Irony anyone? They sell their songs for 99 cents per, but they'll sue you for $750 for every song you have. - Novagenesis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+44And as always, the lawyers won
- cloudyprison, on 10/11/2007, -2/+41Wait, who Orderd what now?
- CapEnt, on 10/11/2007, -6/+34Nothing is wrong with capitalist. RIAA who is too selfish.
- FurtThePirate, on 10/11/2007, -2/+29its so worth a dupe story though
- MarkOfTheDead, on 10/11/2007, -0/+23every building starts with one brick.
- crawf061, on 10/11/2007, -1/+24Dugg for RIAA LOSES.... little did I know it only got better after that... pay up you bastards!
- SirBotchness, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22WOW a whole 68,000 dollars, thats what, one weeks pay for the ceo.
- UNL1M1T3D, on 10/11/2007, -4/+24Orderd? Is that like the new pwnd or something?
- fingerdigg, on 10/11/2007, -4/+23***** THE RIAA!!!
- roxya, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17Because they have to pay a measily 68.7k? Yeah, right.
- chieferer, on 10/11/2007, -5/+22Ill take Jap Anus relationsfor $300. No, i believe you will take Japan US relations.
- thethorn, on 10/11/2007, -7/+24Wow, digg is becoming dupe hell. This is like the 3rd time this has made the front page today.
- Cyberdactyl, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16Well, well, well, the knuckle and knee-cap busters of the music industry has REALLY been caught with their monetary pants around their ankles this time.
Will this slap some sense into the industry to consider looking at a different business model or will they fight till the last music executive goes postal at Pirate Bay's headquaters? - TheBean, on 10/11/2007, -3/+17***** ya!
- blackjack75, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14" total to $114,363.18 – a total that Capitol objected to immediately. Capitol argued the attorney fees in particular were objectionably high, and requested a 40% reduction."
Looks more like the attorneys tried to make a quick buck. They probably didn't charge her the missing money. - lilbitmoreslyk, on 10/11/2007, -7/+20Thank God. Their merciless rampage is beginning to come to an end.
- bbqsalad, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Stop buying music.
- DigitalN, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14"I've spent my entire life trying to invent an anal bum cover, failing to do so is my greatest regret!"
"You have lived a horrifying life." - glasgowm, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13Seems like someone is lost.
- Subcranium, on 10/11/2007, -14/+24Spell better, please.
- idonthack, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10I wouldn't say that. Lots of indie record labels are nice guys, and have really low prices. A few even offer music free for download and those guys need donations, which is kinda like buying music.
I would say, "Stop buying music from the RIAA." - givinupthefight, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11*in Kermit voice with arms flailing* YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
- EnderMB, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11Is that all? If it were a large six figure sum I would have been a lot happier but I'm sure it won't take long for the RIAA to shake this off. The best thing I think anyone can hope for is that this ruling can set a rule for other cases and bring justice to anyone else the RIAA take to court in the future.
- ahhell, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11Sweet, sweet precedence!!!
- Novagenesis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Considering the same defense works against just about every one of their lawsuits, and the precedent of this case MAY allow others to get legal fees, the RIAA might soon end up with an avalanche of expensive legal fee judgements
- raada, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Good!
Now I know which companies to never buy music or entertainment from again. (Yes I already have around 300 CDs, 150 DVDs plus Itunes.)
Virgin Records, Elektra, Capitol Records, Priority Records are crooks abusing the US justice system and my tax money. No thanks.
I only buy music directly from artists from now on. - SeenByMany, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11LOL....pretty sure that's 'distribution' of another medium all together
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8This just means the RIAA will have to sue even more people to recover the 70 grand they lost.
It's still a lucrative venture for them. Down 70 grand, up ... how much? I can't even estimate how much money they've made nickel-and-dimeing the general public. - s1mph0ny, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Yeah, the 68.7k wasn't even all of the court costs. The lawyers wanted 114k. It's hard to say if they were just asking for more than their normal rates, or if the defendants are still out for 40k.
- op12, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8You usually drink water out of one of these.
A leather glove! - OwdenBowden, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Lets Celebrate - Download anyone?
- unclemeat, on 10/11/2007, -5/+13I just burried your comment as a dupe.
- MarkOfTheDead, on 10/11/2007, -4/+11........jerking off a guitar at the superbowl?
