- dmorel, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2that's one... But boy does it speak volumes to how tough it is for folks to defend themselves. They received way less than petitioned for. I can't say if 70K or the 110K+ they were asking for are more reasonable numbers for the defense of this case, but with either number... Oh my. How could the overwhelming majority of people in this country whom are drowning in debt already even begin to consider defending themselves in a suit like this? At nearly 70K at the low end and the months (years?) of stress.
All that aside, let's hope this is just one of many many favorable judgments of this nature and sooner rather than later we actually see a genuine shift in this mess. - Maddoktor2, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1And about damned time, too!
