Traffic to such sites is poised to overtake traffic to sex sites in America any day now (see chart).

As average people use computers more and more for real world things (and not just porn) that means that the porn site views won't increase at the same rate.

You simply *cannot* get a new adult credit card merchant account in the US anymore, you have to go overseas (like, to Greek-controlled Cyprus), and pay insane transaction and setup fees to the international arms of Visa, which is simply way too risky.

Its the fact that sites like Myspace are becoming more popular at a faster rate so the proportion skews. I dont have any stats but if I had to guess Id say that as far as actual numbers hits to porn sites theyre probably gaining more people all the time. Just not as fast as stalking sites.
