Polaroid 'Instant' Killed after 60 Years
arstechnica.com — Today is the anniversary of Edwin Land's introduction of the Land Camera. Inventor and scientist, Land developed the first process that could make a finished print in 60 seconds. This year's anniversary, though, is bittersweet; Polaroid Corporation announced this month that all instant films will no longer be produced after 2008.
