Yeah, they may have fixed the commenting system, but the algorithm is still stupid. - maing, on 06/04/2008, -0/+13Horizontal scrolling is a clever feature
- FyreGoddess, on 06/04/2008, -0/+9Ok, I like this. Of all the lifestreaming sites, this one actually works well and easily from my Treo.
What's the point of having a lifestreaming account if I can't do it while I'm out and about? I'm sold for the moment. We'll see if I get...
oooh... shiny...
*skips off* - rwallen, on 06/04/2008, -0/+9"Plurk as acronym: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, Karma"
Looks like it was built by ravers. - kdfrawg, on 06/04/2008, -1/+7As I saw this, I had Twitter in Twhirl in one window and Plurk in another. This is an excellent article, by the way.
- jaybol, on 06/05/2008, -1/+6been using plurk for 24 hours and it has the left the best first impression on me of any social media site since i first joined digg and stumbleupon
- angusm, on 06/05/2008, -0/+4If only I had a life to stream, I'd be all set.
- danielbachhuber, on 06/04/2008, -1/+5I appreciated the insightful explanation on Plurk's name, but it still makes me think of something cats, dogs, and little babies do. The logo doesn't help at all either. Cute, but disgusting. Shock value?
- Joshuarr, on 06/05/2008, -1/+4been using plurk for 24 hours and it has the left absolutely no impression on me whatsoever.
- inactive, on 06/05/2008, -0/+2Plurk rocks
- herebejames, on 09/17/2008, -0/+2I'm not a fanboy of Plurk by any stretch, it's fun, I enjoy it but neither there or Twitter are digital messiahs to me - it's a service/tool I am always seeking to improve, weigh up on.
But I agree it is worrying it has barely lined the front page given its major traffic/usage spikes days ago, it certainly warranted some exposure. After all, I used to rely on Digg to catch things as they happened like that. - Neticule, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2This thing is awesome, I think its stupid this didnt get to the front page with 200+ diggs...
- BlackTye, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1Lifestream? Like Final Fantasy?
In all seriousness, I think I'll check this out. - inactive, on 06/04/2008, -1/+2I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that one.
- MaxMWood, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1I am officially addicted to this.
- shutaro, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1Yeah, my new social networking site sqwizmyrxtubv.com is going live next month.
- chuckstar76, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1Needs more integration points to become much more useful, some thing client side (though IM is good). SMS, mobile stuff really needed.
- aidwiz, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1interesting coverage on plurk. i am going to try this one. love the bling blings.
- aksn1p3r, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1its got a weird name but its a bit more practical than a barrage of tweets all piled-up, plurk makes it interactive, twitter hardly has any response from followers after a while
- Joshuarr, on 06/05/2008, -2/+3tried registering a domain name recently?
- supahpaul, on 06/10/2008, -0/+0Yeah! Plurk is really an addictive application!!
- shutaro, on 06/04/2008, -2/+2Is it just me, or the names of these things getting more and more absurd? Plurk? Are you serious? That sounds like something I do in the bathroom. "Hold on, hon, I need to take a Plurk" ... "Oh my gawd, I feel like I'm gonna Plurk!"
- 10goto10, on 06/05/2008, -2/+2Sounds like a piece of plurk.
- ventsi, on 06/04/2008, -2/+2looks cool
