- jeff1943, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I guess it's too late. Kevinrose chose to digg this one.
- chad78, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6sorry dude. Didn't see it. (and the catcha didn't catch it either - weird.) Undugg mine. Your is dugg.
I see now - yours had some rss info on the end of the URL - that's why the catcha didn't get match them. Again, sorry for duping you. - digitalgopher, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7ummm... dude, I just submitted this...

:) - DEFSMAC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you mean there are actually real life people that use that?
- fiendlama, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Plaxo is evil, stay away.... they have a "master plan" that has little to do with keeping you in contact with people who change their addresses. Just think, what can a company do with your ever changing phone and address info...hmmmmm.
- digitalgopher, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3no worries, bro. it happens to all of us...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Who actually uses Plaxo anyway??
- fmin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What a horrible name for a company. Reminds me of the mouthwash.
- code_of_life, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1or that fooking DVD media on black friday. Hate this Plaxo's spam too.
- erchn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What is this "master plan"? Isn't there easier ways to get people information?
- rhettnyedotorg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1no digg. this company is a SPAM. privacy issues as I recall as well.. fux plaxo.
- betona, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Man, I installed Triton to try it out, used it for a day and uninstalled it. But the curse of Plaxo lives on... I wish they'd leave me alone. Fortunately, my buddy list is completely different from my real e-mail address list. Unfortunately, I keep getting Plaxo notices about people I've never heard of.
- etandrib, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Plaxo is great to keep your Address Book (OS X) in sync and always backed up. You just have to make sure that the Automatic updates are turned off or it will send a lot of spam mail. I update my addresses once or twice a year, it is nice to keep my friends and family's addresses and phone numbers up to date.
I just wish it would sync with Gmail's contacts. - jjlax328, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Plaxo just recently picked up the online calendaring/organizing software known as "HipCal" (http://www.hipcal.com) which I find to be extremely useful, so at least they are doing some stuff right. Funny thing is...I don't think I've ever encountered any Plaxo spam or anything, must be a Triton thing?
- fiendlama, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Of course there are other ways but are there quicker ways? When companies make their money from sending you mail, say credit card offers, magazine subscriptions, they need your most current address...otherwise they spend money sending to your old address or paying other sources for your new address. Plaxo cuts this time and cost down.
I'm not making this up, i interviewed at Plaxo 3 times, for a total of 10 hours. This yet to be implemented revenue source was explained to me by the two co-CEOs.
