- Ignathius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i'm all for pirate radio, but when it interferes with something like this, it's time to call the FCC. i'd rather not have a plane touchdown in my backyard over the ability to listen to some cool music.
- yellowbkpk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You won't have planes touching down in your back yard because there are oodles of backup methods for doing navigation with a plane.
- Larke2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i know its a safety issue and all...
but i can't help but find this funny. - szelij, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its not hacking...they just broadcast the station on the same frequency as what the tower comms use.
- rudolphdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If this isn't a reason to call out the FAA I don't know what is. Ummm, why is it POSSIBLE for a pirate station to interfere with a commercial aircraft? Isn't this a security issue the bad guys can take advantage of....like hacking a tower's comm signal and directing two jets into each other?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very neat stuff, Digg!
- slainbyte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Any one else find it amazing that there is a backup station?
- gp120, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can't find the transmitter, why don't they just drive around those 3 yellow trucks like they did in "Pump Up the Volume" to find Christian Slaters station.
