    Also, the after-sales support is top. I was stupid enough to spill green tea on my laptop, and they repaired it for me in a week.

    In the very first picture, those patterns look quite good on the laptop.

  • StrangeFamous, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It's veneer, so it's only a thin layer of wood attached to the metal with industrial strength adhesive. It could also possibly be pressure-treated ahead of time, so it wouldn't be able to warp with normal, everyday use.

    I was actually a bit disappointed that it was more a hybrid of wood and plastic

    I think wood just on the interior (where keyboard is) would be better...wood grain and brushed aluminum go good together
