- SmeRndmGy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1nice. i like his choices for free software. not all of them though. ive used GAIM, its terrible. i use aim with deadaim to get rid of all the ads and other stuff people hate. also he should have mentioned more media players then just itunes. winamp and VLC are both great and the latest version of WMP (version 10) actually isnt bad. otherwise i completely agree with his suggestions. also try sygate personal firewall, blaze ftp, azureus, dc++, and SI meter. all free.
- SuperMoonMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He picked some pretty common examples. I was hoping for something that I hadn't heard of.
- josher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yah its Pat alright, but come on, anyone that knows anything has heard of all of those products. i understand it is for the more casual crowd, but come on Patrick! show us your skills!
- Speakerboxxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ah! It's Pat! TSS isnt the same at all without you. We all miss you and Leo.
- Harry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice, I like these tytpe of articles for two reasons. One, it occasioanlly introduces me to new products, such as Gaim which I am going to compare to Trillian now, and it also gives validity to freeware I am currently using, but am not yet sure about.
