Using tape is frowned upon within the origami community. - resentment, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Links to a blog. Real Address:

- hspr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What is the point of the two 'tricky' folds ? Seems to work just as well when they are left out . . .
- dhughes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 I think it's a great idea, thanks for the tip sikosis and thanks to resentment for the other real link.
I'm always making CDs and this is a great way to wrap them with paper that sitting right there next to me. - EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually buying them is probably cheaper than your time to make them. I'm sure you can afford paper CD cases for 1-2cents a pop.
- ahoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this is actually pretty useful
- -neon-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Neat, good for when you burn off discs from those spindles for people, saves you having to give them a case from your own stash :)
- mojo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Been making these for a while now. They work great in a pinch, plus look cool.
- c0dek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0same thing, better execution: http://www.papercdcase.com/

- Widmaniac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sweet idea. This is perfect for when you burn a CD for a bro and you don't have a case or anything.
- incu_vamp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i tried this last week, pretty cool
- tarun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Taken off front--not sure exactly WHY.
- zenithyoda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This takes too much time. All I do is take a self made template on my PC, type of the track list, print it up, fold the paper into half hamburger style, then fold the sides back, leaving enough room for the CD and some breathing room. 2 pieces of tape and I'm done. Worked for me for the past 5 years....
Having them is nice, as they take up less room than the slim jewel cases. - Tobey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just buy the damn things. You can get a hundred of these (and they have the little plastic windows too) for about 7 bucks. I think Fellows makes them, but there are plenty of other brands too.
- mrhaines, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ever heard of a CD envelope? They cost like a buck for a hundred.
- TGMD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0been doing this for years.... its not cool its ghetto, you can't get Jewel Cases you get paper instead... If you couldn't figure it out on your own
you challenged.... - TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Linking to your own blog is so 1776. :(
Because the founding fathers loved blogging. :X - glitchbit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0o0..... you do know omax and compusa got what you call real slim pastic 100 pack cd cases for like $10 and free after rebates frequently right?
