Palm's Foleo is dead. Did Engadget pull the trigger?

blog.palm.com — Most of us recall the Engadget open letter to Palm a few weeks ago and remember that one of the points of the letter was that Palm should kill the Foleo and focus on their smartphones. Well, today Palm did just that, they're abandoning the Foleo project. Which brings the question if this was due to Engadget's letter.
