- Kamino, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Read it earlier at Teletext today and I can say I feel very emberassed to be Dutch. We always have been very soft and open-minded (as y'all know) towards other beliefs and opinions but this definately is out of line.
The country is filled with immigrants that don't even speak the language? - OK
A very mild drugs policy? - OK
Alcohol at 16? - OK
Sexual intercourse under 12? - NO WAY - Quarks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm afraid a lot of people (non-Dutch, and apparently some Dutch too) don't know what this is really about and that this article will contribute to a wrong image of the Dutch political system, so let me clarify a few points.
Firstly, paedophilia is not equal to raping children.
Secondly, this a matter of free speech; obviously raping a child is still a crime but starting a political party that represents paedophiles is not (just like you can start a party that represents murderers). As long as you don't commit the crime, there's nothing wrong with starting a party.
Thirdly, I have yet to hear from a single person that thinks this party is serious. The other points they make or also laughable (e.g. no integration policy!!!).
And finally, I don't think this is a 'real' political party. I think they only wanted to start a discussion and raise awareness Even if they were, I haven't heard of a single person that would support this party, so they virtually wouldn't get any votes.
You shouldn't feel embarrassed, you should feel proud that the freedom of speech still exists.
Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with them at all and child rapists make me angry, but apparently a lot of people think that starting a political based on your views (no matter ho much you disagree with them) is wrong.
Keep in mind, people still actually have to vote for them.
These people want to lower the legal age at which people can have sex, what other way to do that then starting a political party?
Remember, a paedophile isn't necessarily a dirty 40 year old man going around mass raping little kids.
So in conclusion, I have mixed feelings about this.

But this is a stretch...16 is a good age, people don't need to have sex before that. And if they do, they should be around the same age...adults have no reason to sleep with children.

But, if one looks at cultures which are not based on modern Judeo-christian morality, 12 is not an unreasonable age to begin carnal knowledge, and bestiality, more often than not, is merely blustered at. The title is technically misleading, however. The law does not seek to legalize pedophilia, the love of the prepubescent. Maybe, with the luck of Lucifer it will one day be made legal to have sex with anything we please, including newborn infants (with consent of course). See when they cry it's just the learning stage. The last time I pulled out to late and got my brothers 8 yr. old sister pregnant. She was worried and almost died but shes okay now. When I broke him in at first he was scared because it hurt a little and the blood was leaking from his ass for days but it's all okay now and he gets to eat dinner if he behaves. See It's not rape at all and they actually learn to like it after a while. So I for one support their efforts because it's only natural. Children have no rights anyway.

they certainly all said "no" and "stop," but for some reason, a pedophile isn't too concerned with what the child wants-- duh, they're doing this cuz all they care about is fulfilling their sexual desire. it is self-serving and will legalizing it certainly result in the vast majority of child participants doing so AGAINST THEIR WILL and with NO WAY TO DEFEND THEMSELVES. children also lack the verbal and emotional wherewithal to stand up to manipulation and abuse from an adult.
