- MeauxToo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is no question in my mind that her actions as HP Chairwoman were completely unethical. However, as a person, I hope she recovers from this dreadful disease. My grandmother suffered from it and my mother had a preemptive hysterectomy to avoid it. It is extremely painful and difficult to drive into remission, and the treatment borders on the barbaric. As an illustration, nurses administering the chemotherapy drugs to fight it must wear chemical gloves because the drug causes chemical burns. Bear in mind, these drugs are being pumped directly into the patient's veins.
Good luck, Patricia. Family members of cancer survivors everywhere are routing for you to achieve a quick and long remission.
