- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15i love Opera :)
- NoOneButMe, on 10/10/2007, -3/+13Direct link to source: http://snapshot.opera.com/windows/w950a1.html - just to avoid the TF blogspam that this is.
- praveenmarkandu, on 10/10/2007, -5/+13really! im sure SOME people use opera as a BT client, but its like going to KFC and ordering a steak
somethings should just be thrown out of opera - leroj, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Recently switched from Firefox to Opera and I love it :)
- nephilimx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6NoOneButMe: thats the Windows changelog Page
http://snapshot.opera.com/unix/9.50-Alpha-1/ has the linux versions - Noctem, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6...Among a LOT of other features and improvements!
I've got it installed, and I gotta say, Digg.com has never been smoother. They've done GREAT work with their javascript engine. Once it gets released I'll probably switch back to it from Firefox. - Hades32, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5"really! im sure SOME people use opera as a BT client, but its like going to KFC and ordering a steak

Since 9.23 it is REALLY usable. It's quite fast now.
As an Opera enthusast I can really recommend trying this out. But be aware, this is an ALPHA. (And other than Apple they admit it!) - elvenseven, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5My 2nd day with Opera 9.5 alpha. I love the speed. Some sites not displaying well on it though. Bug I noticed is the help (F1) doesnt work. "Client not found!" error. Yahoo Mail's header not rendered well.
- worbd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Not everyone is a hardcore downloader. For "normal people", a basic, easy to use BT client is far better.
- RadiatedAnt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4 the RIAA hates opera now! rawwrr!
- cyberflas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I thought Opera already had a BitTorrent client built in?
PS : I love you Opera. - wright3279, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Tried it. Lots of bugs, problems with videos, Flash etc. Read reviews at http://my.opera.com/community/forums/forum.dml?id=31
But it's an alpha, I'm sure it'll improve. - worbd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Those aren't reviews. Those are threads in a forum dedicated to dealing with bugs in alpha/beta versions of Opera. You are obviously going to see a lot of threads about problems, because that's what that forum is all about!
What bugs have you found? What problems with videos and Flash? - Moskie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2GMail has issues, too. Gah, the alpha release is such a tease. I love the enhancements, but it's just a tiny bit too buggy for everyday use for me. Can't wait for final!
- sharp77, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's rocking and has come a long way. (I remember back in the day Opera could fit on a single floppy disk.) FF has been copying Opera for the longest and I must admit the extensions of Opera (widgets) do not compare to FF's extensions. But then again, Opera has so many useful features and it is FAST! I had been getting pissed at Opera for not functioning with certain sites but most are now working. Even still, the 'identify as IE/Firefox' & 'mask as' options seem to have fixed my issues. And the 'search in history from the address bar' is just damn sexy.
- TenebrousX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Also, fast forward doesn't work properly on digg :(
- NoOneButMe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Well, It's the page that TF was quoting from so i figured it's the main source of the article at hand ^^
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I can't say I've tried the BitTorrent function in Opera since it launched in version 9, but as Opera seems to have become the one-stop location for just about everything else I do online - mail, IRC etc - I might just have to give it a go!
- worbd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What sites aren't working well?
Yahoo Mail is broken because of functionality in the alpha that isn't finished yet, apparently.
Haven't seen any problems at Gmail, though! - TheSeeker11, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2BitFox - http://code.google.com/p/bitfox/
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2has anyone made a bt add-on for firefox yet?
- BevansDesign, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1No kidding. What percentage of the browser market does Opera have now, 1%? Maybe 2%. Maybe.
Hell, Firefox BARELY qualifies for the "popular" label. - keyme, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Sweet. Will still stay with firefox as default, though.
- sk545, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1bah, for some reason my computer won't come out of S3 standby after installing this Alpha version.
So, be careful everyone. - mookieXL, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2...and you STILL can't skip files.
- JDHarper, on 10/10/2007, -13/+2"Opera, the popular multi-platform browser..."
Popular? Bury as inaccurate.

What is Digg?
