1) Why a digg podcast? Do we really need something as boring as the "Slashdot Review"? Someone to just spew out the stories/articles that I've already read about?
2) Will this be handled like Systm and the Broken? Meaning all the hype leading up to an... "eh, it's ok" show only to be left behind. Ahem. 2 quick episodes of Systm and the promise of an updated site and what's there to show?

It reaches out to the tech audience on all levels, the Videos, for the hardcore people that want the all in details etc. Then you have the podcast, for the people that are more, the moderate tech user, knows more than average, but doesnt want to go hardcore. You have the time to think about, 3 hours downloading video that comes out once every other month, or 10 minutes for a 30 minute audio show that does the same thing?
Basicly radio vs. tv. TV shows it, but you can get the same entertainment from audio, just a little harder to understand, either way, it's kickass...

Congrats on being ranked #19 on Digg, but 1776, dude. Anyone can make a podcast about digg posts and there is nothing you or George W. Bush could do about it (actually, "Dubya" could have me and my entire bloodline wiped out of existance and say it was necessary for National Defense.) You own "diggcast.com/.net/.org" but not exclusive rights to commenting on Digg posts. I hope that isn't what you are saying. - dtang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hmm.. I can go both ways with this, but I already own a digg.com podcast, talking about the stories that are on digg. Although we have stopped for a good number of weeks, it is still in production. The domains we use are diggcast.com/.net/.org and having this idea and jumping on it first, bascially this idea belongs to me, I am willing to hand over the domains over to you.
