- treelovinhippie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Congrats! Evan is a top bloke... I sent him an email a few weeks ago with a some questions I had regarding being a budding young entrepreneur with big ideas, but the usual little programming skills, time and cash (the same problems he faced when he first started out). I actually got a quick and sincere reply which basically said keep at it, learn some programming as it will be helpful etc... but it was still pretty cool.

Really. Thanks for the blog spam.
Really. - tommasz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This situation seems remarkably similar to what happened with Blogger. Blogger was a side project of Pyra Labs in the same way Twitter was a side project of Odeo. Pyra eventually folded without ever producing a product, so you have to wonder about Odeo. That price seems awfully low to me.
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ev seems to be really down to earth. Hopefully he will put the money to good use and improve Twitter. :P
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I got out bid :( Personally I didn't think their asking price was all that reasonable or the extras they requested. But, who am I to judge?
- skell, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Good for Ev! Odeo had some great potential back in it's day. Is it really utilized much these days though?

agreed, good for him.
Twitter is not affected thankfully. - SpFmmTrist, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2TWITTER FTW
