- dragonlink2, on 07/01/2008, -0/+42I thought the bottom of the "s" character was a spot on my screen.
- Eriksrocks, on 07/01/2008, -2/+41The Gogle Affilşiate Network?
- webresources, on 07/01/2008, -2/+32Sorry for mis-typing. Posted this from a Turkish keyboard and realized what happened later.
- junkwheel, on 07/01/2008, -0/+19The gogleş, they do nothing!
- PabloMac, on 07/01/2008, -0/+14Pics or it didn't happen.
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+8That S's zipper is down.

- oduska, on 07/01/2008, -2/+9I wish there was a spell check feature when submitting...
oh... wait - Baryn, on 07/01/2008, -4/+10Haha, how cute European SCUM!!!
- FredFredrickson, on 07/01/2008, -1/+6Is the Affiliate network being affected by this, or is it just the Affilşiate Network?
- aserer511, on 07/01/2008, -3/+8haha that's also a Romanian character, so I was confused. we use the same character set :) and share some words.
- tightscrummy, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5A perfect example of why non-ASCII domain names are a terrible idea. http://uşbank.com
- FredFredrickson, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5Monkeys throw it there. After extracting it from their *****.
- geneticlone, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5ok, -1

- sirjeffrey, on 07/01/2008, -0/+4Sorry everybody. I signed up for Referrals yesterday, and I guess i ***** it up for everyone.

Wonder what they're going to be doing. - aspec, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3Who cares? I like the one without pants.
- inactive, on 07/02/2008, -1/+4Adblock+ I love you!
- s0nicfreak, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3Well thanks, now I'm even more confused...
- FredFredrickson, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2You should think about cleaning your screen off.
- tightscrummy, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2Eating government cheese probably.
- NanoStuff, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2When I scrolled, the spot moved with the s. That freaked me out.
- bsawards, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2That is a shame. I liked having the referral buttons on my sites. They generated a good revenue when they were satisfied and it was good for business (getting users to use Firefox, etc.). Oh well, nothing lasts forever.
- linuxpenguin, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2The "referrals" program is used to refer people to other specific services and such. Originally they were only for Google products - for example, you'd put a link on your site that says "Download Firefox with Google Toolbar" or "Increase pageviews with Google AdWords" and every time someone clicked it and downloaded/signed up for the program, you'd get, say, a dollar.
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2no, their referral program is different.
- o6uoq, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2That's a shame. No more installing Firefox and Google Pack on every new PC at work to make $$$ !
- Atmeh, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1Since I use the adsense referral ads on my sites I thought I would be proactive and sign up, generate and replace my ads. Just so everyone knows. The new site is slow as molasses. Maybe because everyone is trying to update their ads, dunno. Still, for the past 2 hours I have tried to get their filter (or anything) to work. I selected Type: Links Provided by Advertiser, Date: Ongoing, Size: 468x60. All ads displayed are in every size available.
I'll be changing all of my ads to content since this new service is absolutely useless to me.
Thanks Google! - brundlefly76, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1No one did - they sure didn't go out of their way to make it appealing.
- webresources, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1Sorry from everyone for posting the funny information with Gogle and ş. I wrote it from another language's keyboard & was sleepy
But the title tells all I believe. - jaydoj, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1I like snorg girls
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1they're really just eliminating a duplicate since they own DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network anyway. All they're doing is rebranding that
- Tolemac, on 02/04/2009, -0/+1When I first heard that Google was buying DoubleClick, I knew then there was going to be a shake up of the advertising side of things, but this I didn't expect. I can't really see how this has helped the small website owner, who doesn't necessarily rely on adsense referrals, but who are now not able to get paid like they did previously. I mean, you have to wait till an individulal advertiser hits $50? o__O Unless there's more to this I've not read yet, that is not going to help get us more money at all. I never did use the referral ads on my blog at http://tolemac/net/blog but I knew of others who did and did fairly well.
Guess I need to research this more to see what impact it'll have on my network, if I go with content ads again. - albatross2147, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1şome miştake şurely you mean "şhame"
- redwallhp, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1So we don't get paid to tell people they need to download Firefox anymore? Darn it google!
- 108programs, on 10/17/2009, -0/+1Did anybody notice the snorg girls are back?
And how will this effect my end-user experience?
http://www.diggma.com http://coldjung.com - Atmeh, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1Another great outcome. When editing "competitive sites" google is ignoring selections. It says to wait 10 minutes... try an hour+ and nothing. Competitors from anywhere including banned sites you select will still show up on your site.
- noniksayang01, on 02/18/2009, -0/+1Just look about this in the next time ...

- Bluezdood, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1That sucks, I was using referrals and actually got some money from them. I promoted Picasa and Firefox.
- s0nicfreak, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1Oh! Thank you!
