Why is it so hard for people out there to realize that so much of their lives are owned by Microsoft and that everyday Microsoft is working towards "maximizing" their profits to a greater extent - this means they are constantly searching for new ways to give the consumers "less" for more money and to get that money faster. The only way to battle this problem is healthy competition. Because there is not enough competition to Microsoft, its users are nothing more than the "slaughter and harvest" of their aggressive profit-driven business model. It's time to wake up!! Technology should not be "owned" by any company, technology is a spirit of humanity, technology comes from our innate abilities to manipulate the world around us and it should be for the "right" reasons, not for maximization of profit. The change will happen, people should see that sooner rather than later.
