- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+34As I was reading this title in "upcoming stories" I must say I was pretty confused by the wording of the titled, what with this being Digg and all. Or maybe I'm not on Digg at all...
uh oh - juicebag, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31How about a functional search button?
- oneoverzero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+22I thought it said "New site Digg"
- kenvsryu, on 10/10/2007, -5/+25/ignore Ron Paul
- JoshuaH, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15What's this "Digg" I've been hearing about?
- catfish182, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12A filter would not be bad, I could filter out all the "pics or it didnt happen" comments
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12-iphone -apple -ipod -itunes -mac -engadget -gizmodo -facebook -torrentfreak -best -worst -"top 3" -"top 5" -"top 10" -"top 20" -"top 50" -"top 100" -awesome -kde -gnome -"ubuntu apps"
- NikoKun, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Filters? You mean we wont have to save several Searches as RSS feeds anymore, just to get the topics we want? Awesome!
Hmm, oh wait... the article doesn't make much mention of any actual upcoming filter feature... damn... Oh well. At least I have RSS feeds... and a Streamy account... - shortarabguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Where is this news site called Digg?
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -1/+9Still waiting on the ability to filter out everything Ron Paul related from sites, to comments. :/
- antoni, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8and being able to search my own Diggs
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You left out "BREAKING!"
- sl9sl9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Pretty much spot on, especially -iphone (which I am ***** sick of seeing). Although I would make the following tweaks:
-ubuntu -"steve jobs" -kernel - BigBunion, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5So what you are saying is that you don't want to see ANY articles?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Goodbye all news about iPhone, Ron Paul and 911 conspiracies! Yay!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Let's add -compiz -beryl too.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -10/+14Hope it means we can filter out all the whining liberals and religious nuts.
- CosmicJustice, on 10/10/2007, -3/+7Yes! At some point you have to filter out the noise.
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4In Soviet Russia memes digg YOU!
Ok, I apologize - BigBunion, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3No S$#t! I've never seen a search function worse than Digg's.
- mojaam, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Haha I thought I was the only one noticing the title, will make better sense if it was outside digg.
- nubtard, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2"Digg is part of a trend in tapping the collective wisdom of a community to uncover items that might otherwise be hard to find."
Wisdom.. hehehe. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3What about the In Soviet Russia memes?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5How the ***** is this news?
- drakenlot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Finally, I don't have to see cracked.com diggs anymore.
I hate their ***** Top whatever crap - mlostracco, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Digg is no longer for news. It's for stupid, low-resolution inbox forwards that amuse the 14-year-olds who weren't old enough to see them the first time they went around the internet.
- RodeoRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Hopefully this will help filter out all the beat-up-on-creationists and beat-up-on-Bush stories. I already have my Digg account set up to ignore political stories, but these stupid things seem to leak through more and more lately.
- Misanthrope, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I think "memes filter YOU" would have been more appropriate.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I like articles, but I don't use Digg as my RSS feedreader if you understand what I mean. ;)
I forgot to add -lifehacker (which I have subscribed in my feedreader) and -arstechnica - LexxVlad, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Save searches like custom RSS will be good.
- antdude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1http://www.digg.com [grin]
- ptrl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Just let me create my custom RSS feeds and I'm happy.
- antdude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Where do you think you're at? [grin]
- rootstyle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yea I'll take -pics myself.
- pault107, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You can see all of your Digg submissions and comments here - http://www.zuubu.com/default.html
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Haha, indeed.
- dasid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Will there be a filter option to see which stories get censored?
- Mysk, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Yeah, the headline is a farce. :|
Streamy seems to consolidate feeds into one feed? Or is it something else? That'd be useful. As I've mentioned in other threads about Digg's rss feed, I use http://www.Feedrinse.com to clean my Digg feeds of iPod/Phone, Linux, and other crap. I still need multiple feeds though. - wandoswiki, on 01/01/2008, -0/+0this is old news..

http://www.gorgeousdirectory.com - robbh66, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Too bad they added a lot of trash features as well.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Digg news is Digg news.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0The news site called Digg has been filtered out.
- rkehn, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3You mean one that would also let you search stuff that you have dugg? That's crazy talk sir.... ;)
- pauldanon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0"Filter" seems to be being used to mean include rather than exclude.

What is Digg?
