Yeah... I wonder... - TunaFishGangsta, on 10/04/2008, -1/+16The guy assisting the charge is working for American mass media. He is no different than the guys who overheard the Happy Birthday song and sued on behalf of big media. They are all about how can we twist the law to screw over the people, the technology, innovation, and well-being for a cheap and dirty buck.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+15Sir, you're assisting copyright infringement with this comment. The Swedish Anti Pirate Bureau will be pressing charges against you shortly.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -0/+10In turn, by mentioning the name of said site that is assisting in infringing copyright, they are themselves assisting assisted copyright infringement. Thus making them no better than Nyheter24.
Choose your battles carefully. - solidus636, on 10/05/2008, -0/+8Don't forget: http://www.mininova.org/
- Azerael, on 10/05/2008, -2/+8By creating content to be torrented, you are actively involved in copyright infringement...
- fxu1989, on 10/05/2008, -0/+5***** yarrrr!
- p3ngwin, on 10/05/2008, -0/+4why aren't those that oppose piracy and it's links, going after search engines?
after all they "facilitate" piracy according to this logic.
utter bollocks.
/n.b. i'm for freedom of speech and approve sharing of all kinds of energy, even if it is illegal because those that decide what's legal have nothing in common with what i believe is for the greater good. - h4mx0r, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3Yeah? Well I criticize the criticizers for being so critical!
- Sendai129, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3I hope you meant to add "as long as it doesn't interfere with the freedoms of others".
- 2ndEdition, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3yarr. there be forbidden treasure deep within the Rectal Cave.
- linagee, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3Digg is linking me to the torrent freak news article which links me to a news page with links directly to the detailed page which has links to torrents! O_o
- bratterscain, on 10/05/2008, -1/+3"Hey, look over there! This paraphernalia is illegal."
I pointed to it. Is it mine? No. Am I promoting it or ratting the person out that owns it? If it's illegal, I guess I'm ratting them out. So I suppose I just shouldn't speak when I see an injustice, right? But no, they can't see it that way because common sense is in no way equatable online as it is IRL, I suppose.
The anti-piracy groups just can't get enough blood, no matter how silly the issue seems. I sometimes defend anti-piracy here on digg but saying 'here is something illegal going on' is somehow illegal? wtf? - falafelkiosken, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2Henrik Pontén is an *****
- GiggleStick, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1I'm linked to Kevin Bacon!

- avasol, on 10/05/2008, -1/+1So does Google. (help commit theft of copyrighted material).
- Mankrik, on 10/05/2008, -2/+1It's just like how the RIAA illegally downloads music from you to find out you illegally downloaded music.
- ideaflashed, on 10/05/2008, -1/+0Any portal hosting torrented content are not to be blamed. I am an anti piracy consultant and an inventor too. Shortly Camcorder recording would be thwarted at projection booths and TV, LCD monitors. The prototype is ready for commercialization,. I have spent the last 6 years in the R&D of anti piracy. I can conclude based on my extensive research and having One to one meetings with the Apex Bodies campaigning anti piracy, are ready and accepting the fact that File sharing would the practical way for them to earn at the same time best mode of deployment. IT is MPAA and RIAA, who were the stumbling blocks. A movie and a simultaneous relase of the DVD below 1/4 a dollar is absolutely acceptable. We need File sharing portals and their name can be deceptive but what they are doing is "YES" offering quality service. The same portals can generate revenues and it would be a win- win situation for both the content owners and the portals.

http://ideaflashed.blogspot.com - Dustmuffins, on 10/05/2008, -3/+1Isn't criticizing freedom of speech? Just because say you don't agree with someone saying something doesn't mean that you're taking away their freedom.
- Z3r0t0l0rEnCe, on 10/05/2008, -8/+2Its just another way to show total control of what people want to do. My new motto is FREEDOM TO DO WHATEVER THE ***** I WANT! I'm so sick and tired of the constant ***** of you can't download that, watch that, do it our way or go to jail. ***** YOU U COMMUNIST BASTARDS!
