All it takes to use is a few lines of javascript, and I've never noticed any performance hit... - jakv5, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11Wow it looks great.
- ACrazyGerman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Mmmmm Pie Chart...
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Yeah....ok. Analytics...say it with me now.
- andrewthrice, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This is good...but did they release an API for it yet?
- bdubya, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I tried it and disabled it. There is a performance hit. Every page view hits Google's Analytics servers before loading. Nothing Awstats or many other stats packages can't give you on a dedicated server. At least http://www.haveamint.com/ offers something unique (real-time)
- brianez21, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Mmmmm... AJAX Pie chart =)
- rkettner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3They say ALL accounts will transition over the coming weeks.
Note: I've setup a new account and got instant access to the new design. No data of course... but a chance to check it out if you feel so inclined. - SneezyRobot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Eh... I don't like it but maybe it will grow on me.
I just think the previous interface made it easier to see relationships and interpret the data. It seems like they concentrated too much on making it "Web 2.0" rather than making it more functional.
Maybe I just need to get accustomed to it. - pokka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you put the analytics code at the bottom of the page, it doesn't matter whether or not it takes time to load.

Aside from the fact that it was just a joke, this guy seems to think otherwise:
http://www.centernetworks.com/my-life-without-google - SeaOverflowing, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Looks much better.
- xamox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Damn you google and your rollout system, I want my features NOW. J/k, looking forward to it.
- decipherd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1can't wait, tbh i think the current 'look' is terrible. Very hard to find the information you need, especially for people new to it.
- inio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I already got switched over to it and it looks pretty nice. Only thing I miss is the hourly view - I don't see any way to get the single-day view any more.
- srg13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"I like that they're providing more information, but I think I actually prefer the current visual style..."
Same here. I like the old visitor/hit graph, geo location thing and the 3D destination pie graph a lot better. - tmajor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3pwill, they send you an email. Just have to wait for it.
- .Steven, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Nice, thanks Google!
- krebs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You know what would make it perfect? More cowbell.
- vemerge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I haven't been switched yet, but I really hope they don't lose that functionality. I really like to look at single day stats -- can't you just click on a single day in the calendar?
- suppazone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yeah I have been waiting for that too for a long time - at a first glance it doesn't look like it though. Bummer
- rubink, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Looking good. Sure did go up fast. Wonder if all current accounts have been moved over to the new interface... DGC

I like that they're providing more information, but I think I actually prefer the current visual style... - noface, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1There is more cowbell... not telling where though.
- sriranjini101, on 07/01/2009, -0/+0A blog on GA & Adwords integration - http://analyticsspeak.blogspot.com/
- GuidoRosso, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Nope, I'm still seeing the old reports...
- stefanludlow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Looks like a REALLY nice set of tools for those who have web pages. Take the tour, which gives a great overview of all the features in a few minutes to get a better idea of just what this tool-set does. If you have a blog, or a small site, this could be a great tool to help generate revenue, understand the flow of your page, and do any number of things!
- RickBreslin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0But will it blend?
- spock627corfu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Can't Urchin get a little love, too? Pretty please?
- nick34, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1God i love google.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1How did you switch? I don't see any settings on my page...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -13/+4Google anal 2.0?
- gamebittk, on 10/12/2007, -22/+6Yes! Now it can make 50% of the internets websites even slower!
