- notque, on 01/24/2008, -3/+8Who cares what Drew Curtis thinks, fark is terrible. You can't have a rational conversation there. You can here.
- civilizedevil, on 01/24/2008, -1/+4But where will the news come from without the Digg Elite? We're all screwed!! oh wait, theres a submit button.
- MAGZine, on 04/22/2008, -0/+3I don't mind the minor tweaks, but when some of the coolest news will never see the light of the front page because there wasn't enough 'diverse diggers' that dugg it, then we have a serious problem here.
- inactive, on 01/24/2008, -2/+4Kevin ...one message ...when you have people who did a lot of "work" here on Digg for free and everything is against them, something is not ok.
- gallardo, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2This was a much needed change. How do you think the most lame/obscure stories from Gawker Media or Weblogs Inc or other large sites/blogs always hit the main page? They have huge groups of people to help them game the system.
Gawker Media (Gizmodo, Valleywag, etc) recently introduced a pay-per-traffic system for its editors rather than a pay-per-post or salary structure. This is 95% built around Gawker staff gaming Digg or otherwise getting their stories on Digg. Straight up... that's what it is. Why do you think Gawkers are all upset about this now? - Disarticulate, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1I guess this wont get to the front page. Interesting article but comparing the lack of transparency on Digg to Soviet Russia is a little hysterical.
- Quadrophenic, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Release the files, Kevin!
- jphicks, on 01/26/2008, -0/+1I've got something Google can buy.
- Dhalsim007, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1Masses = Ron Paul supporters :-)
- atb112, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1People bitch to make changes and people bitch when changes are made...Pretty sure there is an upcoming story which complains about 40% of the FP stories being from the top 100 diggers.
- zoransa, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1diversification is key, once story gets enough diversification gets promoted.
