- Mowatz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Nice module. Replaces digg's RSS feed. ;)
However, I would like to be able to "digg" stories directly from within the module. Any chance to see that implemented soon? - heavyness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14netvibes.com is a godsend.
- shooks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Netvibes is great and just keeps getting better. Very cool way to read RSS (among other things) and keep several computers in sync.
- DaveMN, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15I love Netvibes, but this module doesn't seem to provide much value beyond the standard digg RSS feed, and takes up way too much screen real estate IMHO. Think I'll stick with the feed for now.
BTW, they also added an eBay module today. - lerchmo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12You have to be logged in to digg a story
- stomicron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Personally, I like that you can't digg from within the module. I wish you couldn't digg straight from digg's homepage either. That way we wouldn't get a bunch of inaccurate articles dugg up simply because someone glanced at the title and liked it but never got to the comments section to see that the story was BS.
- twermund, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7it actually has a fade in for new stories unlike the stupid Google IG one.
- Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Digg Gets a full tab of real estate for me :D
BTW, does anyone have a link to a .jpg file of the digg favi icon? I want to put it as the tab icon. - ahmerhussain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Nwetvibes is very nice, but I like Google IG for a homepage. Bloglines for RSS. iTunes for podcasts. When i'm on linux I use the Rhythmbox podcast thingy.
- designy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I would like to be able to "digg" stories directly from within the module, too!
- durerca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Umm...http://eco.netvibes.com/modules/
They've had user-created modules for a while now. The Customize Netvibes one is great. - xxdesmus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3best homepage out there...by far. Nice addition also :)
- GamerSmurf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I was trying to get to Netvibes.. - no wonder why it was going so slowly, digg effect
oh wait - maybe that was that update - amanzi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Once again Netvibes rolls out more cool features!!!
- angelp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The whole point of a start page is so you don't have to visit a bunch of sites. This module allows you to have info on one page without have to navigate anywhere else.
- GamerSmurf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm loving this!
- durex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Been using netvibes for a while and man have they come leaps and bounds. Way cleaner and easier to manage than google homepage imho.
I got 3 tabs full and by the looks of the latest updates, looks like Ill be adding at least 1 more! - angelp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've been using Netvibes for months....it's the best start page out there and it just keeps getting better and better. I'm loving their new eBay module as well.
- albrad84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Same here... I think they should give an option to reduce the size of the buttons as well as maybe remove the description so that it takes up less space.
- angelp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ummm....actually they have released the API so the community could start creating modules. If you take a look at the Netvibes ecosystem page, you'll see some of the modules created by the community. They're nowhere near google or live.com, but the ability is there.
edit: just saw durerca's post... - djpaulie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The digg module is pretty sweet
And Netvibes overall is great, though I only ever use it at work.. It's "preview" of stories makes my work's web filter useless. :)
Definitely good stuff. - kypen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is great. I use 2 digg modules. One with the top stories and another that shows only things dugg more than 1000 times to get the best stories. Netvibes is brilliant. So much better than google home, pageflakes, microsoft, etc. and I've tried them all. +digg

Thanks for the separate tab just for digg idea. - djp72, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2netvibes friggin rocks.
i have 13 tabs and all of them chock full of stuff.
too good. - Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Thank you so much! It's not fair that google has one and Netvibes doesn't! :D Whoever made this is awesome!
- supervapio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good. I've never thought it is for real.
- MySchizoBuddy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1thanks i just checked it
you are correct. I have been looking for a stock chart module and i found it on netvibes. google ig doesn't a decent one
looks like someone will prolly move to netvibes, if the initial testing is satisfactory - Bradl3y, on 10/12/2007, -7/+7Can you imagine how easy it would be for people to abuse that. People would modify it to automatically digg their blogs everytime they are visited.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2No, this is actually a legitimate rhetorical question:
The RSS feed is delayed.
For those who need or like to get the LATEST news updates, your best solution is visiting the Digg site (or scraping it in a timely fashion). - badch0w, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ah, a limit at 25? News stories move so quickly on this site that I've set my standard Netvibes digg feeder at 40. Let's see 40 as the cap!
- MySchizoBuddy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2the problem with netvibes is the community doesn't create and submits those modules. There are only so many modules a company can create on its own and ultimately limits the collection.
Digg module has been available in google/ig for a long time and netvibes just made one. that makes netvibes very late to the party. and it ALWAYS be late to most parties cause the company itself has to do all the work rather than the community.
Google/IG and live.com, since are community driven will have everything under the sun, and netvibes will have only whats popular. - gregmo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2that'd be ridiculous. you wouldnt even know what the story was about from a single sentence.

- divatri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hm...hm...Are you people blind to vote for THIS?
- mbrandsm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0share your tabs! submit them to the community on eco.netvibes.com
there is a new option on the tab pop-down menu that allows for that - tommythetomcat, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2man netvibes has received the Digg effect... back to google/ig
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Ummmm... I'm just keeping up the um+="m" trend.
- Negyxo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Snore.
Bury me, whatever. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I wonder when people will just stop visiting sites to view and participate, and what advertising we'll see ... I'm thinking "digg.com/deals/kevin_rose_says_buy_lenova_thinkpads" within 12 months.
- poipoipoi, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3why would i use this instead of just... visiting Digg? (Seriously.)
- monser, on 10/12/2007, -14/+2Netvibes RULESSS !!! google ig, live.com, pageflaxes SUCKSSS !!!

What is Digg?
