Netscape to Pay top Digg poster 1000 dollars per month

techcrunch.com — Jason Calacanis, who runs the Netscape property, wrote a post earlier today offering to pay top Digg users $1,000 a month or more to switch to Netscape and submit news there instead.

Then again, maybe some of the "top posters" can resist the $1000 a month to continue making digg what it is...but then again, money brings out the worst in people.
