- Eric-tile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It certainly sounds like a great deal, but the Netgear 802.11g Wireless Router is a piece of crap. At least the first addition of that model. Once they make new versions of the same model hardware, they stop releasing new firmware for the older ones. I still can't use WPA encyption, just WEP. In addition, I've got one computer with a wireless PCI card, one using an ethernet wireless bridge, and a third directly connected to the router. The two wireless enabled PC's are unable to share files through the Windows Networking, yet they can both connect to the internet at the same time. I don't get it, plus I have the latest firmware for all of my hardware.
I recommend you stay away from Netgear. - splitfyre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good deal although it's a mail in rebate of over $60. More than likely the rebate will take more than 6 weeks to process... :S
