Nearly 70% of Businesses Allow Social Media Usage

readwriteweb.com — A new report about Enterprise adoption of Web 2.0 technologies, by Awareness, Inc., shows that employers are increasingly allowing staff to use social media applications in working hours. Awareness puts the figure at 69 percent of businesses in 2008, up from 37 percent last year.

  • jggube, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1I think it's an advantage (when in moderation) for employees to keep up with news, and no better way to do that than in social media outlets such as Digg and Delicious.
