- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Cool stuff, hopefully a Firefox version gets released soon.
- thekeggerman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Is it just me or does it look a LOT like the Yahoo Toolbar that has been available for the last 2 years?
- Haplo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@mutant there *is* a Firefox version of the Google Toolbar.
Moreover, you can drag (move) all the tools the Google Toolbar provides to *any* other toolbar (including the menu bar) of Firefox, and hide the Google bar itself, so it takes up NO SPACE at all.
If you remove the GO button, and the search bar of Firefox itself, you free up even more space.
See http://johnbokma.com/firefox/google-toolbar-customizing.html for how to do this.
The same site also has other customization tips. - theinfobox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ditto on the hope for a Firefox version
- gdziengel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I want a firefox version!!!!
- ArtVandelay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think people go dancing because it's really a great application...
- rcomegys, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love their form-filler. it's a life-saver when you're applying for a bunch of creditcards and what not.
- dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2TIP TO THE GOOGLE OFFICIALS: FF doesn't need a "toolbar" it needs an EXTENSION ... which means the added functionality doesnt have to add another GIGANTIC bar below the address bar/bookmarks ... i would like to see this bookmark ***** implemented into FireFox elegantly
- thehig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What people are referring to is that you can use customized buttons without using IE which is about as dumb as you can get. But I digress.
Great question who still uses IE. Probably not about 99% of the people who use this site thats for sure. - Haplo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@dracula7
read http://johnbokma.com/firefox/google-toolbar-customizing.html which explains how you can have and the Google tools, and not the toolbar visible. - pacificdave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1not too shabby Google... i love it. it's a nice addition to IE. too bad it took me a while to fire up IE because i seem to have misplaced the IE short cut.
so i'm going to stand by for the Firefox extension..... - fox, on 04/11/2009, -0/+0finally they added the live bookmarks so i can access them anywhere
- MemoryDump, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0finally BOOKMARKS in the GoogleToolbar.. now I just have to wait for the Firefox version to be released.. patience..
- Onyx26, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wouldn't normally touch a toolbar, but two I can't do without are the Google Toolbar and the Web Developer toolbar. But where are the buttons for video search and map search!?
- Neonlights, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1No way its BETA? thats crazy comming from Google.
- norbiu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wtf ? they teamed up with Firefox but they're releasing the beta for IE ?
- jtravis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Onyx26 - its beta...test it and make that suggestion.
ditto on the firefox version... - diggnationdevon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't like toolbars.
- CoolSilver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL Firefox is REQUIRED (Internet Explorer version available)
- Wardvark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just cant imagine people wanting more toolbars, even with good features toolbars seem to obnoxious
- Tijmen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dracula: Entirely possible already. I disabled the toolbar, and with the Customize function just dragdropped the spellchecker and formfiller into my regular toolbar. Only things I use.
- GaryKing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Firefox + Mac would be nice.
- monticello, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does anyone use IE anymore???????

Only 90% of the internet - ravedave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why is this news? When there is a FF build then its news :)
- tzvik2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0check out this cool Shareware button gallery...
www.gbuttons.com - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0typical Google and their 3 year "Beta" feature...
- snyper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Google is just not doing a good job of linking products, they create amazing software but they are about as organized as a pack 5 year olds in a candy shop. Why would you not release this to firefox first and push people towards Google Pack?
- jzillan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0there is a version for firefox peeps geeeeeeesh. get with it ;)
-zillanator - idiggeverything, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like the bookmark feature.
- MoeB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0give me a break. go ahead, invite google into your browser.
- thelip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think I will wait for the version that has the "add censorship button".
- TuxFan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice idea but lame that they didn't make a version for Firefox. IE can't be fixed with a toolbar. Digg once a Firefox version is out. Till then, lame.
- ender52, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0um... there is a Firefox version, i just downloaded it. Not sure why its says IE6 required...
- 4815162342, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the last good thing google did was google earth.
- shiftless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You can already add icons to the Bookmarks Toolbar in Firefox as long as the site has one of those spiffy icons. I just delete the text.
- Haplo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"finally BOOKMARKS in the GoogleToolbar"
Uhm, what's wrong with bookmarks in the Bookmark toolbar? See http://johnbokma.com/firefox/ for quite some configuration tips regarding this toolbar, how to add live marks (to RSS feeds), the google toolbar, etc.
Enjoy. - jack_dt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Please to enjoying my Google Toolbar Button: http://www.dtheatre.com/read.php?sid=3592
Loving you long time :) - jmyhasuk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Beta :(
- MrCalifornia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0or you could just use www.yubhub.org
- Tech_Junkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I also hope the FF will be out soon looks somewhat interesting.
- bahaal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like the idea of a digg button extension. Anyone made one yet? Please share it :-)
- mutant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0no firefox? no digg
- nacs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Internet Exploder only. Lame. No digg.
(I'll wait for the Firefox version) - RayMetz100, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Another stupid marketing toolbar. I don't want any of them.
- usergentoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0IE????? never heard of it
Oh yeah maybe its cause its something made by Microsoft never used any of their software before.
Unix and Linux is all I have ever known - dv8withn8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you're using a toolbar, especially one that is obviously meant to suit a single corporation's needs, you should be here. kthnx.
- SupaDawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I already made a digg button. I'll post it tonight.
- avonej, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"...as unique as you are."
What?
Is that supposed to be some kind of joke? - briguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thought Google was pro open source! An ie version? Come on, Google, stick with your program - Firefox First!
- SupaDawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it actually looks really good in IE7. consideering how minimalist IE7 is it looks really clean with the interface.
