  • garbanzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If I were in charge, I'd increase the offset to like 10 minutes instead of five, and then after a while I'd push it up to 15, and then I'd double that and we'd be back to the normal schedule, but I'd tell everyone that we are actually 30 minutes ahead of the competition, then I'd pat myself on the back and give myself a huge raise and write a seriously long sentence about it.

    season passes, and I don't tivo a single NBC show.

    I had already stopped watching them on a regular basis back when
    they canceled The Pretender. Which taught me the lessong that having to fight any network for an extra minute of air time isn't worth it for some show that is going to be dropped just as I'm
    getting hooked on it anyway.

    Yea there hasnt been anything to watch on NBC lately. In fact, there hasnt been much of anything interesting on TV lately. Football season isnt too far away however.

    And the only shows worth watching are the ones you DOWNLOAD

    I watch Scrubs on NBC and Lost, Alias, and Boston Legal on ABC. I like TV.
  • a_greer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why cant the networks be sued for false advertising, if they claim that a show goes from 9:00-10:00 and it is intentionaly started at 8:55 and runs till 10:02 then that is false advertising.

    I work for an NBC station and I don't buy that we're going to see NBC doing this, ALTHOUGH, ER's start time did move from 8:59:00 (central time) to 9:00:00 in the last 2 weeks. That was always the show with the worst start time.

    As for Leno, he'll more than likely stay as is at 10:34:30. Ever notice that the 10pm news starts @ 9:59:30? Besides, Letterman and Ted Koppel both start @ 10:35ish as well.
