According to legend prisoner fashioned wings from sheets of plywood and soared from mamin tower (36-storied building, 240m). There different ending of the legend - he died, he landed successfully and was captured, but no one of them happy.

I seem to remember that from high school physics. - bitswapper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I watched the 'free energy' clip regarding the use of a 'coil' of wire to produce current from the power lines. They didn't really succeed in making a functional coil - the wire was not insulated, and so could not induce a current. Had they used any kind of insulated wire and measured between the coil and ground, they might have found something.
