j/k. digg+"
I am just relinking what one of the /.-ers replied when a similar comment was made.

What is wrong with it being on /.? They do interviews/questions quite a bit. - hagrin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3You blind /. haters are ridiculous.
Who cares about the competition? The purpose of this site and others as a reader is to be notified of interesting and informative posts on the Internet. To not digg something that was a good read and offers insight into one of the best shows on TV really shows the blind hatred that causes the Digg commenting system to lose most its value. - jhaven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2no kari, no digg....
j/k. digg+ - zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Why all the hate against /.? Shouldn't us tech sites be working together rather than against each other? Why can't we all just get along?
- zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The only thing LAME about /. and digg linking to each other would mean that the information being presented will hit a broader audience, and in the end more people will be better informed. Which doesn't really sound that lame at all actually. I mean, I like knowledge. Don't you?
- ZacT1984, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love that show. My favorite was the one where they blew up the cement truck. And the chinese rocket man. There dummy Buster gets no love.
- felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So if a site gets slashdotted, and then the slashdot article gets digged, what happens if the original site links back to Digg?
Sounds like an Escher painting... - zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am an equal opportunity digger.
- caldroun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If anyone is interested we interviewed Adam on my Podcast - Technorama

He was awesome to talk to. - jhaven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thanks mr.blair..... i saw the same comment on /..... +3 Insightful no less.... :)
- Nullifidian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Wow! Something from /. thats worth reading!
Mythbusters all the way! - N2EI, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Kari & Scottie
- BrowserBabe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love Mythbusters too! I was very impressed with their honest responses to the fans questions about the show. Its a great show because it very thought provoking and makes me want to experiment myself. Thanks for the great article! Digg! : )
- geoboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's... odd. The page isn't loading for me. Slashdot has been Digg Dugged!
- databyss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0/. generates content... not just links to it.
- WikiTerra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Considering the fact that the story itself is on Slashdot, and it's not a link to a link, I think it's OK. I think it's fairly telling that this getting so many diggs--it means there are that many thousands of people using digg but not using slashdot.
Yay for organized site design, mellow color scheme, and arial font! - zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oops, probably should have proof read the content first. The questions they answer arent' so much tech and they are questions to Jamie and Adam about the show and their ideas. But still a great read none-the-less. Enjoy!
- robweber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i agree. if something good is on one site or another people should post it freely no matter where the original source came from. The internet is about connecting and sharing information easily, not trying to keep digg and slahdots stuff seperate. most of us have a preference for one site or another, for our own reaons, and having cross posted articles only helps everyone in the end.
- davidkain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How ISN'T training goldfish relevant to real life?
Myth Busters is one of those shows I'll always stop on when surfing that vast ocean of boredom I call basic cable. Digg it! - fitzy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0VERY good read!
- meatshop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great show
- pimpsallad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great 'interview'
- motionblur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Digg vs. Slashdot thing is so last week....get over it already. Both rule.
- tw0bit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty sweet

I think there is a decent amount of cross-pollination. For instance, I read the interview on /., then saw it here on digg so I dugg it, because I knew it was a good interview/discussion and because I like the show.
As for diggers hating /., I think it is silly. IMO, people who don't read both are missing out. They are not competition. They each have their pros and cons and approach things differently. One tends to be more structured and more of a "read this article and discuss" type atmosphere (though, technically, it's a blog with a large following). The other is a social bookmarking site with a "Have you seen this? Do you think it's cool/interesting/informative?" type atmosphere. They're both valuable resources for their own reasons. - skooche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i love mythbusters!!!!
not for science or geekery or chicks (though i love scottie), the people and their relationships make it interesting. most fascinating are the hosts relationship with each other. i sense respect but also some competitive fire too. - dippi23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome story
- Ghostgum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Kudos to zeroreality for having the stones to post a /. article on digg.
Good read.
+digg - besouza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, the comments are funny (on /.)
- zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Harsh. I am sure that there is a lot more "scientific" study that goes on behind the curtains which would be just boring to show the viewer. They actually mention this over in their interview. I mean they have credibilty in the movie industry from years of experience, so why all the hate? I think the Mythbusters is an educational/entertaining show and this article is a good interview and gives us the viewers a little more insight into the show. If you didn't like the interview I would understand, but there isn't really a need or a point to flame the show. If you didn't like it, just don't digg it. Thanks.
- zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would like to start seeing digg users comment on the articles that ARE linked from /. and see how the two "communities" intermingle with one and other. And I completely agree, I think in the long run people will find out that the two sites and their users aren't so different after all.
- T39andcounting, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is taking AGES to load! Has digg managed to cause the "slashdot effect" on slashdot??? LOL
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Do you really think that digg and /. should link to each other? That's LAME!
- lennox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Who cares if its on slashdot. Thats a pretty damn lame reason not to digg something.
- grayBot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0question:
In the advent of a server war, would SLASHDOT be DUGG or would DIGG be SLASHDOTTED...? - zeroreality, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0wurd.
- DrEbola, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Because scientists apply logic before blindly dropping things off buildings like cavemen with boners.
- itzac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Cool article, but could someone explain to me how training goldfish is relevant to real life?
- DrEbola, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The comment page is for people who wish to comment. If withholding a digg were enough feedback, then the textbox I'm typing in wouldn't exist.
- Darth_tater, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0the only reason im on digg is cuz i dont like the way slash dot works.... i have always been a digg guy but now its annoying when oyu see duplicate URL's for the same story under different titles on the home page. it just clogs it up. i likeed it better when "a lot of diggs" was about 300
but im hoooked on mythbusters, i have ALMOST every episode on my MythBOx - proverb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I see so much /. spam in the digg section. I just get a little twitch in my left eye when a /. link makes it to the front page. No hate here, just competition.
- holymoses, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0hey guys, cross posting stories is stupid as hell.
the worst trend i've seen in the last year is blogs linking to blogs linking to blogs. cut this crap out, anyone seriously interested in tech news at least gets the /. headlines via rss. why do we need another page sitting on the internet with a bunch of comments attached that only links to the real story with the actual comments? - sardonic, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2I thought digg was killing slashdot! why link to them, let em' burn!
- proverb, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Mrraaaaaah. Ok it's cool, but why slashdot?
- guru8376, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Slashdot is so dead that even Digg will link to it. :)
- DrEbola, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0The "Myth Busters" are actual wannabe geeks. They're a couple of guys who pretend to do research that's remotely scientific and they act stupid so they'll have the stigma of being geeky. But they're just morons. Their method of "busting myths" is so utterly unscientific, inaccurate and (worst of all) boring that I want to choke myself every time I see that moron's pretentious french hat on my television screen. These are two unlaid cogs with lukewarm IQs that fancy themselves as being along the likes of unlaid MIT graduate students or unlaid inquisitive teenagers. They're just two pretentious lovers with average intelligence and minimal understanding of science. (So are their loyal viewers.) I am going to choke myself right now and then throw up until I die.
- DewayneSmith, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1/.? You *****.
- e3mw, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Digging Slashdot? For shame!
Mythbusters is an awesome show, I'm hooked.

What is Digg?
