- leptonbill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Because this is comming from a such a legitimate source (gnn.tv?) you can't NOT believe it.
America watch out, the babalonian terrible secret of space is about to be unleashed against us. Our only hope to stop this ancient evil technology will be the reversal of the poles caused by Planet X. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Wow, it's Art Bell, DailyKos, and AboveTopSecret.com, all rolled into one lumpy mess. How can this not be true, they have a neato GIF of some golden chair and photoshopped Marine patches from the "Warlaboratories Division" with some kind of Godzilla thing on it.
Nothing to see, move along... - 4answer2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Maybe Tom Cruise will be the savior of the Earth
- Amaruca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The feathered serpent was common among multiple central and south american civilizations, not just the Aztec (Quetzacotl). Check out the connections between the Incan "Amaru" and relate that to "Quetzacotl" of the Aztecs.
- Amaruca, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I suppose a more legitimate source (like CNN) will pick up on the story and have it on TV for the masses by the weekend.
- BadassCheese, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6if you believe this you are an ass-clown and should not speak. ever.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2dugg for lawl.
- kidhero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Oddly enough, the MC Warfighting Labs is true. And that indeed is our patch, and that is a dragon. We're responsible for implementing technology into war strategies developed by the Commandant.
http://www.mcwl.usmc.mil/ - leptonbill, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4No I don't expect it to get to CNN nor are the cable news channels that legimate however they are more legitmate than this site, there is an obvious bias and eagerness to find the worst possible scenario in the "reporting" on this site. The reason this won't get to the mainstream media is not because of some secret conspiracy but because evil magical feathered dragons don't and never have existed. And assuming that these do have the untold powers that their alleged to have, why hasn't it done anything for the people of the region for the past 2000 years? This is dumb and is not news, it should be posted on a website like abovetopsecret.com where others who embrace vast over-reaching conspiracies and magic crystals can buy into it but not on digg which is a forum for REAL science and REAL technology news.
- starmanjones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1totally lame... and reported...
but, you know, its hard say this isn't true with a commander and chief obsessed with religious mythology and prophecy. soldiers obey orders. - Amaruca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Tom Cruise- Savior? Hah!
That's John Travoltas job.
Yet there are wierder things in this world than this.
Stuff that makes you go hmm. - tazamore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The article neglects to mention the Illuminati connections to the British monarchy which are controlling the world food supply using moon-based radiation beams that were installed by, you guessed it, Google. It's right there in Revelations, people!
- kidhero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I don't know what's more ironic:
The fact that GNN is leftist propaganda hoping to blanket the Iraq War as a horrible atrocity by injecting their superior and condescending liberal stance into American culture, or
The fact that your own Anti-American condescending stance for criticizing a fanatic leftist, which currently is the most vested on proclaiming international awareness, as being "American" and unintelligent.
Regardless, you and this digg both gave me a chuckle. - leptonbill, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5Double True
- Athyrius, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I have been highly interested and involved with archeology for a long time- one of my friends is an archeologist with the Smithsonian who has made many finds in the Middle East and 'Holy Lands'. I do know that prior to and immediately following our invasion of Iraq there were some major movements within the archeological community. Things went on that my friend considered 'strange' but would not go into details about.
Also I know that the first places to be 'looted' were the Museums. Not the banks or bazaars, but the Museums. And according to my friend things were stolen that would only have been stolen by people with a high level of knowlege. - crapman, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3You can tell it was written by an American, the lack of knowledge from the author on world history and culture is pretty obvious: just one fact - the feathered serpent was Aztec, not Inca, it's just a civilization few thousand miles apart from each other, but for an American that has never been out of their county and the only history they read is from the movies, that doesn't matter.
- Amaruca, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Reactions here are similar to some of the initial reactions I witnessed in respect to TIA (Total Information Awareness) which was clearly detailed right on the DARPA project pages. The same week that some of the "conspiracy nuts" were buzzing about it, CNN picked it up and it ran the story full blow on Headline News. Within a month congress had passed a bill to deny all funding for the project. Maybe some of you should pay more careful attention to history... it seems to repeat itself from time to time.
