My Experience with Firefox 1.5 & Memory Leak Problems

  • m85476585, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think Adblock Plus fixed it for me. It rarely goes over 300mb now (I forgot to look at the vm usage.) I just installed 1.5.0.1, so I'll see...

  • inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Firefox used to be a memory hog, but it's been behaving nicely lately -- using 80MB right now with 18 tabs open. It helps to clean out extensions and also tweak some settings (such as browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers)
