- dirtyfratboy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+29Myspace is sooo last month...
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25"i'm always searching for someone."
you're lonely aren't you :'( - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20My prediction is that this will result in a hilarious proliferation of link farms on myspace.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -12/+30What's stopping you from starting your own business? Nothing except your *****, anti-American attitude.
Personally I regret not picking up Myspace when I saw it for sale on Craigslist, under free junk. - Durrok, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Search Query: EMO
Now displaying 1 of 1,945,380 results - kalphegor, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19More like, Myspace is so 2005.
- slicedoranges, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Too bad MySpace sucks.
- invader, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14let's investigate why everyone hates your comment..
"OMG" - enough reason to mod anyone down
"I can't wait." - not being able to wait for a feature update on a crappy site is almost sad enough to make Chuck Norris cry [keyword: "almost".. simply because Chuck Norris does not cry]
"I love myspace" - I hate you and I hate the bands you like [RvB] - invader, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12haha *emo tear*
- apotropaic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Hmm... make it easier for the child molesters to find targets? Nice goin MySpace
- ericnmu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9I thought they had around 5 million members?
Your numbers look a little off there :P - mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6maybe not big news for us, but its huge news for google/msn/yahoo
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6the search engines will be clamoring all over myspace.. the site is probably the single most search-intensive site on the web.
- lateralus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"she was SUCH a good student until myspace came along and she started being on that for hours on end."
-replace 'myspace' with 'heroin'. - Daryl209, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4People whine about how much they hate Myspace as much as Myspace users whine about everything else.
It's a circle I guess.... - navinjohnson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Rupert Murdoch is now referred to as the "MySpace Owner"?? What is that like .0001 of his empire?
- bennyboy371, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm personally tired of the term emo. I've pretty much heard it describe almost everything these days, and its always derogatory.
- philmunt, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I would think it is always "Rupert Murdoch's News Corp." because the word "news" is kind of ambiguous, hence the need to specify that you're actually talking about THE News Corporation not A News Corporation.
- drawkbox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Rupert Murdoch is one of the most powerful men in the world right now, maybe even the most powerful. Politicians he backs they get in office. He has half the Chinese market, BSkyB (opposite BBC), XM, DirectTV, etc on and on hundreds of newspapers in many countries, myspace, fox tv, fox sports, fox news. This is a guy that basically started A FREAKING TV STATION next to the big three and beat them. He is definitely infamous and an evil genius but you have to read up on him if you have not yet, the name should really not even be Rupert Murdoch's Newscorp it should be just Rupert Murdoch.
http://www.cjr.org/tools/owners/newscorp.asp - bennyboy371, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I have a question, what the ***** are you talking about?
- Murphious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Did you read the article, dude?
- poipoipoi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3it's amazing how many diggers here can't bloody read -- and reading the article wasnt even required, the TITLE alone is enough to know ... bah, forget it.
- bndocksnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@philmunt
--"I would think it is always "Rupert Murdoch's News Corp." because the word "news" is kind of ambiguous, hence the need to specify that you're actually talking about THE News Corporation not A News Corporation."
actually, i think that is what capital letters are for. hence you would use a capital letter to define something as a Proper Noun. **said with a smile** - drawkbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Well for each search engine they usually get a few cents, times that by billions and billions of searches and there is some money there. This story is about money up for grabs,,, LOTS of it!
- navinjohnson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@invader,
Nice rant but j0se was obviously being sarcastic. - cyclotron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I hope so - their search sucks ass.
- ElJefeGrande, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6ya, why "Rupert Murdoch's News Corp."? That's like saying Steve Jobs' Apple or Bill Gates' Microsoft. Doesn't do anything for me.
- Murphious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2... You know, that gives me no results...
- aptget, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6You mean Tim Berners-Lee's Internet?
- Daryl209, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Damn....so is Myspace also the reason why she lost her virginity in a public bathroom too?
Just wondering..... - poipoipoi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"humor?! i get humor!"
- Daryl209, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That's because Emo is derogatory....have you heard the music?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Tim Berners Lee invented the inter'Web'z not the Internets. Al Gore invented the Internets.
- mikejohnston, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They need to add a Chief Designer position like Google recently added.
- MonkeyFit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I typed my name in Google image search and got back pictures of Robert Deniro.
- sam10685, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3myspace owner and facebook owner for that matter needs to go to go rot in hell. it's destroying kids' lives. my little sister barely graduated high school with a 62% and she was SUCH a good student until myspace came along and she started being on that for hours on end. i bet a lot of other kids aren't graduating. ROT IN HELL MYSPACE FOUNDERS!
- skinnyC, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2you know, if you put:
div
{display: none}
it removes the ad from your page. Not from every other page, though... but it's a start. - Wamzlee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I typed my name in on Google and it brought up myspace profiles that talked about me in them. :)
- loveandrockets, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Go to Google.
site:myspace.com "becky hates debbie"
Now where's my consultant's fee? - drawkbox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2coldfusion is dead with the problems it ran into on myspace, its all .net, java, ror, lamp etc nowadays. Cold fusion is over!
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3So go outside and look for them?
- sam10685, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"-replace 'myspace' with 'heroin'."
that *****'s not even fun u *****' ass hole. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This will make it easier to find the scumbags that steal people's SideKicks, leading to more entertainment for the Digg community.
- turntabletux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I absolutely can't stand "Myspace!"
-Ant - abonghit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1...neither does "becky hates debbie". which is weird.
- Looking4TiffB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Being stalked by a guy who calls himself mrASSMAN, that's not good is it?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+9Actually, I think it adds a fair bit of amusing whimsy to things:
Kevin Rose's Digg.
Linus Torvald's Linux.
Al Gore's Internet. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2google will never be replaced... its so programmed into people.
- grungyhamster, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Here, here.
I agree with this man.
***** the myspace, that mediawhore of a website.
(btw myspace.com/m0rgan) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2maybe they could remove the myspace ads, and speed it up, and oh wait, then it would be useful
