- shyner, on 10/26/2007, -0/+15MySpace is a pretty great tool for bands. That's about it.
- AnimZero, on 10/26/2007, -0/+7Buried for MySpace.
- mirzar, on 10/26/2007, -0/+7the trouble with myspace is that it gave up its main roots - MUSIC. When myspace first came out it was all about the music and even today there are a lot of great bands on myspace. But instead of focusing what they are good at, myspace is promoting other things like movie ad campaigns, comedy and videos (which are nothing compared to youtube or vimeo)
- sdubois92, on 10/26/2007, -1/+6i hate myspace. its a pretty cool site, if it actually worked. They cant get the basics of the site working and they add some new feature every day.
- dunderballer, on 10/23/2007, -0/+4From the title, I was thinking thinking MySpace (Newscorp) bought Roommates.com or added a roommate search feature. That would be smart and would attract college age folks back from Facebook.
- d03boy, on 10/23/2007, -0/+4I have 39 myspace accounts and 1 facebook account. Are you sure myspace is getting more people?
- mildewmedia, on 10/26/2007, -0/+3Actually you are wrong. Just go to Alexa and put in myspace, facebook, and digg. Looks to me like facebook will be passing myspace in about 3 months or so.
- lukasmack, on 10/23/2007, -2/+5People use myspace?
- Etaoin, on 10/23/2007, -0/+2Look, I don't care how hot you think it would be -- getting in bed with roommates is always a bad idea. It's one night of fun, and then it's awkward for the rest of the year. Just... just don't.
- Apolloi, on 10/23/2007, -0/+2If bands want to spam others constantly to get exposure. There are other sites out there where the focus is on the music. Pure Volume and Virb come to mind.
- RdHrd138, on 10/23/2007, -0/+2I'm sorry, I just don't digg anything about MySpace or Facebook for that matter anymore. It was cool for the first 10 minutes I used it, and then I realized how horribly annoying it was.
- bludragn0, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1Facebook? Livejournal? What, have you been living under a rock? Just read a random comment on someone's wall or on a youtube video.
- inactive, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1College age folk never left in the first place. They may have opened a FAcebook account, but they did not leave MySpace. At least not in the REAL world. I can't say for sure what happened in your fantasyworld.
- scottc, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1Actually, it's a ploy to get teens to buy Ford cars: http://www.forbes.com/technology/2007/10/21/myspac ...
- Ajajadude, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1...I left Myspace when I was in college. Does this mean dunderballer's fantasyworld is my reality?!?
- Ajajadude, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1And a whole lot more retarded...not to mention the increase in drama amongst "friends"
- Ajajadude, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I had several Myspace accounts, too, back in the day and I know of several people who had multiple accounts as well.
Regardless, trying to start a pissing contest over which is better, Facebook or Myspace, is pretty lame. So are these gimmicks like "tv episodes" for Myspace. - Ajajadude, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1You sound like a Myspace drama queen.
- Ajajadude, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1Yeah, it's pretty sad that the whole time I was there they couldn't get the simplest things worked out. And they still haven't fixed them since I left.
- inactive, on 10/23/2007, -2/+2And making a fortune doing so.
- inactive, on 10/23/2007, -2/+2Yup. FAR more than use Digg and Facebook combined.
(Honestly, the "People still use..." comment is no longer considered clever. Especially when it is so inaccurate in the first place. MySpace does not look bad due to your comment. You do. You look completely ignorant and delusional.) - UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/23/2007, -2/+1"come back to MySpace"? And where did this teens go in the first place?!
- inactive, on 10/26/2007, -3/+1it is time you come back to reality. And that is that MySpace is growing by LARGER numbers than Facebook. Not by as big a percent, since Facebook is so much smaller. But in terms of new sign ups, MySpace is getting more than Favebook.
This notion that everyone is leaving to go to Facebook is completely false. Yuo are sadly delusional. - dext3r, on 10/26/2007, -5/+2Gay.

What is Digg?
