I recently learned about their Weave project, now this, and seeing that Aurora future concept thing they're rolling with... It's exciting that they are determined to push the envelope, whether it's practical innovation or the longer-term high-concept ideas that they're exploring.

- Atomic1fire, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1I suggested that they use libpurple the opensource instant messenger library prevalent in pidgin in on the snowl forums because its possible because instantbird (a xul instant messenger using lib purple and xul obviously) already does it, and now that I think of it, it would be a major flocking library (bird joke, plus swear avoidance), pun intended
