- heathuff23, on 12/21/2007, -2/+18I miss demonoid. It had the best search feature by far. TPB has the worst search of anything. Bring back demonoid!
- inactive, on 12/21/2007, -1/+17Anyone get the feeling that Mininova is trying to run themselves as a business? And tell media companies that they are willing to help them?
TPB is doing the same as well. - Jerky1312, on 12/21/2007, -1/+16I think its more of an attempt to show that these sites can be used for legitimate reasons. I'm sure there are some intrinsic reasons for this, but you have to realize there is a lot of pressure on these guys for simply being a haven for illegal content, so this helps them in showing that the sites are also being used for legitimate reasons also.
I think more sites should get on this idea and implement similar features on their sites. The Pirate Bay markets random indie bands every now and than, like Lamont and Familjen, Demonoid used to feature independent releases on their front page and IsoHunt is planning on implementing a system to put more Creative Commons licensed work on their site. That said, it looks like mininova has taken the biggest step in this field with this new program. I expect it to become a very popular part of the site. - aaronlidman, on 12/21/2007, -0/+11I'd be great to see Revision3 (or maybe just diggnation) try this out. Their torrents usually don't have many peers and the exposure could be good.
- fluxrez, on 12/21/2007, -0/+6what about Gargoyles and hell bats?
- ghoest, on 12/21/2007, -2/+7So you setup your downloadable product with them, and 1 download later, it makes it's way to the mininova as a free torrent! That sounds like a stable business plan
- l00s3r, on 12/21/2007, -0/+4Like it isn't already?
- inactive, on 12/21/2007, -1/+5Thats a more drawn out version of what I said. So thanks for explaining what I said. Dugg :-P
- ribbedtaco, on 12/21/2007, -2/+6Demons don't have wings ;)
- h3r2on, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3yeah I'd have to agree it mightbe a good move.
Although they use CacheFly and iTunes so I'd assume a good deal of their watchers/listeners get it from one of those sources rather than torrenting it. - AzureRise, on 12/22/2007, -1/+4This is awesome. Me and my friends might consider publishing some of the games we're developing on there.
- insllvn, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3{insert bizarre apple non sequitur here}
- Diderot, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3This is the future of bit-torrent, way to go mininova
- blueness, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3you sir, obviously have no idea how mininova system works :P
- tucsonwc, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2More to the point where are ALL the Mac based torrents now that Demonoid is gone? TPB and Mininova are barely happening with that area. :(
- se7en11, on 12/22/2007, -0/+2Do it and let us know. I for one would like to check them out.
- john2kx, on 12/21/2007, -2/+4LOL. Epic fail.
- troye, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1You can't keep me down.

- dako, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1Aren't all these free?
Anyway, I'm wondering about the "This download is accelerated when downloading with BitTorrent Mainline or µTorrent." in those torrents =o. - killthemoles, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1I always thought they were fallen angels. Doesn't matter though. As long as they lose their wings :)
- cusoman, on 12/21/2007, -2/+3I sure hope they have some great AV scanning on the files they accept and offer, because this could potentially be a huge breeding ground for some nasty viruses...
- cusoman, on 12/21/2007, -1/+2You sir, obviously underestimate the ability of the internet denizens to cook up new ideas to deliver hazardous materials.
- 4321234, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1What's a virus?
- Waskonator, on 12/21/2007, -4/+4Lame.

- troye, on 12/21/2007, -23/+5Yay, it's my first time to be the first to comment ton a Digg story ever. I like Linux, Windows, and Mac OS; does that make me immune from OS wars ;)
I think it's a good idea, but how will the content producers make money subsequently?
And lastly, I want to give a shout out to all my Floridians out there, all the armed forces, all my europeans, my canadians, and the people in the facist regimes who want freedom.

What is Digg?
