Um... sure. Remember Demonoid? - Jerky1312, on 01/14/2008, -2/+23Mininova is a behemoth of a torrent site. If any independent publisher wants to get their work seen by a large audience, this is the site to distribute your work on.
- JMilton, on 01/14/2008, -1/+17Mininova: A synonym for the perfect digital content distribution method.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -0/+12mininova ftw
demonoid r.i.p - theshizzler, on 01/14/2008, -0/+9Seriously... one of the most popular torrent sites in the world was off their radar until they saw this on digg.
- mywhitenoise, on 01/14/2008, -1/+10piratebay ***** sucks. I use that as a last resort, and my results usually end up with nothing.
- guyro, on 01/14/2008, -0/+8Happy birthday Mininova.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -1/+8LONG LIVE MININOVA.ORG!!!
- generalzod1, on 01/14/2008, -0/+7I am celebrating this historic event by downloading 3 torrents
- STKD, on 01/14/2008, -1/+7If I sing happy birthday, will I end up with a lawsuit from the RIAA..?
- sequethin, on 01/14/2008, -2/+8I'd also like to mention that my favorite dealer, tony "tuff toes" johnson is celebrating his 3rd anniversary as my local street pharmacist. congrats tony!
- shadowspawn, on 01/14/2008, -2/+8buried as inaccurate. The first rule of fight club, guys, c'mon.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -0/+5don't be ***** stupid. its hardly a secret.
- houndeyex, on 01/14/2008, -0/+5They might "hear" you too!
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4Free and DRM-less? I don't think that's a viable business strategy to any media corporation, at least no the free part...
- ekso, on 01/14/2008, -3/+7Stop complaining and find another business model. You can't change the direction of a tsunami when it's already coming.
- chris9902, on 01/14/2008, -3/+5there's not I like more than waiting 14 months for a TV show.
- houndeyex, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2No one said anything about business, just distribution.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2mn > pb
- Sabretou, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1Oh no, say goodbye to Mininova now. The MPAA/RIAA reads Digg daily and now they've found out Mininova, the best torrent search engine. :(
- ekso, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1Exactly! And that's great! The industry can go out of business and let a new inflow of people, ideas and creativity take it's place.
People will always consume and make entertainment and art, no matter what. - Sabretou, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1People like you make me think like torrenting is more like joining a secret society and less like downloading stuff like thousands of other normal people.
- mywhitenoise, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1like they don't know what mininova is.
- jonester, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1They hosted their site on DSL at first? I didn't know that was even possible.
- Sabretou, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1Dugg for randomness, bravery or vague reference to some obscure media.
- polymyxin, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1You can buy episodes far sooner online, and full episodes of many shows are available for free streaming on the network's website. If you want the DVD sooner, perhaps you could try to get the industry to change its ways; once you've made it clear that you're just going to pirate their stuff anyway they don't really give a ***** about when you think the DVD should come out.
- polymyxin, on 01/14/2008, -2/+2The industry has no particular incentive to find a business model suitable to you when you're pirating everything they produce anyway.
- po43292, on 01/14/2008, -6/+4Yes, draw a big red target on Mininova now. Thanks Digg!
- wushi, on 01/14/2008, -5/+2ok now we'll have to go somewhere else, thanks diggers...
- Waskonator, on 01/14/2008, -5/+2Happy Birthday Mininova!
You're too young for me to buy you a drink. But, rest assured, I will drink in celebration later.

- Darren05, on 01/14/2008, -8/+1It's no pirate bay but I have downloaded a couple of "backups" using Mininova.
- xdvx, on 01/14/2008, -10/+2isohunt.com is better anyway
- polymyxin, on 01/14/2008, -12/+4There's nothing I like more than ripping off musicians, actors, writers, and programmers!
