Windows Media 10 won't work on older windows machines or Macs out of the box (at least 10 or 15% of the market probably? Not everyone has XP). And they make money from advertising with ads as well as promoting videos that are commercials. it was posted here recently that dig's CPM might be about 36 - which means that at its current traffic levels it makes 800K+ per month.
the HolyLemon site posted about above makes 16K per month, which menas that it has a fairly low CPM/traffic level. The CPM and traffic are tied together - but I have a fairly limited understanding of this information...

If those diggers were remotely close to the business management of a web property in this magnitude, they would surely know that.
