2. put sheet of paper into book where desired
wow so hard! - cabletool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2whats a book?
- headzoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@oyourmom - Pro Version: Take scissors, cut paper in 4 strips. Place in 4 books. Done.
Seriously though this seems like an interesting idea. I like the ability to make notes on the bookmark. - lifeforms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I actually like those offbeat digg stories. Like crazy art, or, well, this. Plus it's a digg story you can talk about with your girlfriend. DUGG!
- essrog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1In an alternate universe, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia owns digg and this item is a top story of the year
- essrog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"jeez... not a lot of love here for books and book-related "hacks"."
Considering it made the frontpage, it seems there is, in fact, a lot of love for books ... I will have to take exception to your calling it a hack though.
Can we just split the difference and call it beginner origami? - greenbriel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This sounded so lame at first, but after checking the nifty new bookmark consruction, I gotta +digg for the idea.
- tarun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Anybody who reads books will LOVE this. Awesome book "hack"--making use of the triangular edge of the book page.
- glassjoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1jeez... not a lot of love here for books and book-related "hacks".
- knowitall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Cool idea, wish I would have came up with it.
- ichthus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0We made these when I was in third grade. And, they were REALLY cool... when I was in third grade.
- hackysackmaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha "I FEEL asleep her"
- victmlesscrimz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Stupid but simple...ZEN!!!
- 4tygames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0actually, these are really cool, esp. when the school owns the book and you can't get enough notes with a stupid little post-it note. awesome find.
+digg - essrog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"heres how to make a bookmark even easier ..."
LOL! Why do it the easy way when you can do it the hard way? - devilish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No offense to our Euro-brethren, but call me when there's a Letter/Legal
version. - wtfunkymonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like those, they're kind cool. Not worthy of a digg, sorry.
- weirdal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow, that's lame :
- lostinthefire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i have a better idea..
1) fold top of page where you wish to leave down like a triangle.
omg that was f-ing HARD AS SH!T - mrinternet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thought it would be lame ...but actually pretty useful (well done) DUGG
- Chexee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0rip a piece of paper, gosh.
- signal15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have an improvement on this invention. It allows EIGHT bookmarks, or EVEN MORE from a single sheet of paper. Sometimes my genius even astounds me. I am filing a patent on the process of cutting a sheet of paper into eight or more pieces in order to facilitate their use as a bookmark.
Additionally, I am going to ruthlessly defend my hard earned intellectual property by banning scissors under the DMCA since they are a circumvention device. Pirates which own paper cutters to mass produce my invention will rot in prison. - DarkEnder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Step one: Collect A4 paper
Step two: ???
Step three: Bookmarks! - JPhilipson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1oyourmom, you just like bashing creativity...I think it's great
- TheOtherGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0paper? What's that?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"No offense to our Euro-brethren, but call me when there's a Letter/Legal
version."
It works fine using 'Letter' version. Just have to cut a couple more edges is all. :) - crapiolio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here's better idea, finish reading a book all at once!
- stlcadet11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Step 1: Open up firefox
Step 2: press ctrl+b
Step 3: Voila, all your bookmarks you ever wanted
(i dont what this thing you call paper is) - winkydink, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I read ebooks. They keep track of where I fall asleep automagically. And they have their own built-in night light. No more whining from $spouse saying, "Turn off that light and go to sleep!"
- ezkiel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Book?....
Mark?
Mabye if I read more books, but this could be a cool gift. Too bad it would only get used if you made it yourself and used it for yourself. I think. Mabye not. They look good and Are a cool way to label photos too. - obrienslalom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i was managing great before, now i'll be unstoppable!
- TheRealStyro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Bah! Just use old/current business cards. Unless you have a sales/marketing job you probably have hundreds of these things cluttering up a desk drawer.
- goldenratiophi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I haven't used bookmarks in years. I just memorize the page numbers.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Who cares about the bookmarks - it's a nice looking site though."
Heheheh. I love sarcasm. :) - mactavish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0strange that he's using a moleskine pad which already has 2 built in book marks !
no dig, sort of thing my mum would recommend. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"1) fold top of page where you wish to leave down like a triangle."
You give me the creeps. You shouldn't treat books like that. Holy *****! I ***** hate dog-ears. The only thing I hate as much are people who write in the margins, highlight and underline passages, sign their names in the books, fold back the spine or read them with dirty hands. - Shawn595, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Who cares about the bookmarks - it's a nice looking site though.
- smhill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Neat.
- neopran, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ok this is so lame, i used to do this in grade 2 so that the corners of the papers of notebooks would not get bent
btw this was in Romania where teachers were really strict about cleanliness of our notes - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that's lame.
- expensix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here is a good idea, take a piece of paper...
- oyourmom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if u really want to be lazy, just bend the page. try not to get a paper cut, lazy bums
- gamemaster357, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0y is this on digg?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0eh what ever happen to using a sticky bookmark or putin a note card in the book?
- octiron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I cant belive that 214 people were lame enough to digg this
- Rice, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I prefer to have favourites than bookmarks.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0mine woont fit inmy ebook

http://www.frontlinetech.blogspot.com - serra, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0That's nice and all, but is that really all that cool or new of an idea? They are cute, but not worthy of being on the front page or having so many diggs.
