- ceredron, on 07/05/2009, -67/+810This is what happens when women are let out of the kitchen.
- kidwithsword, on 07/05/2009, -66/+625This is why women shouldn't use technology.
- Stoyanov, on 07/04/2009, -3/+420Fortunately, double-oh-seven is single.
- DocHoliday22, on 07/05/2009, -5/+343"Lady Sawers posted photographs of the family's holidays and gave details of the location of the family's flat in London and the whereabouts of their three children and of Sir John's parents".
This is one seriously stupid woman. - Spade914, on 07/05/2009, -18/+313who put a computer in the kitchen?
- ssttuu, on 07/05/2009, -13/+307He's not undercover, he's the public face of MI6. Not so much a blown cover!
- vogelshock, on 07/05/2009, -10/+190Why do old people love facebook more than college kids? Shouldn't they be baking cookies or something?
- collution, on 07/05/2009, -4/+163Oh the irony.
- Ninh, on 07/05/2009, -5/+149Still no reason to make his friends and family an easy to find target. Hard to fathom what went through her head when she basically painted bullseyes on her own kids this way.
- gigi52, on 07/05/2009, -3/+133people have no idea what they are doing with the internet. Sounds like their version of the state department did not explain the facts of life to the family. Being a diplomat, the family should have known better.
- JRowe3388, on 07/05/2009, -11/+140Anything that a man didnt put in the kitchen is off limits.
- whoaohh, on 07/05/2009, -1/+117This brings "my mom caught me at a party because of Facebook" to a whole new level.
- chrisduser, on 07/05/2009, -5/+114Unfortunately, somebody left the laptop on the kitchen table.
- JFitzpatrick, on 07/05/2009, -1/+96What the hell? How can you not have a greater sense of privacy and security when your husband is about to become the head of MI6?
I don't expect her to know international law off the top of her head or anything but for Christ sake, not posting personal information online is a pretty basic rule of privacy and security.
"What do you mean I wasn't supposed to upload geotagged photos of our saferoom?" - 4answer2, on 07/05/2009, -2/+85There
Their

It's not rocket surgery - GraphiteBlimp, on 07/05/2009, -5/+85They are is no way? Lolwut?
- enantiodromia, on 07/05/2009, -6/+70I swear I don't mean to sound sexist here, and I work with many talented and intelligent women here in Silicon Valley, but here goes anyway:
Woman _cannot wait_ to share every god damn piece of info about their families with any stranger who will "friend" them. - JRowe3388, on 07/05/2009, -2/+65My girlfriend likes jokes like that. She doesn't take it seriously because she knows she has me whipped.
- justok, on 07/05/2009, -1/+62he's a widower!
- tza999, on 07/05/2009, -0/+59Lies!!
- Leo55, on 07/05/2009, -5/+62Maybe she in still in the dark about her husband being head of MI6 or something...Just a simple "hotel manager"
- DocHoliday22, on 07/05/2009, -2/+58For her next trick - She's going to provide GPS whereabouts of all her family members...
- mgsdeadcell, on 07/05/2009, -2/+58There
- SquareWheel, on 07/05/2009, -1/+54"blown by wife"
- nurbsenvi, on 07/05/2009, -7/+58lol
- oldhick, on 07/05/2009, -3/+50Complete and utter bs... Employers can not "call up Facebook" and get access. While certainly Facebook needs to work on their privacy controls, they have gotten much better. You can specifically lock down which elements can be accessed, but it takes a bit of work and diligence. If you play games or take quizzes, those people have access. If you don't and simply use Facebook to network with your friends and family, you can be reasonably assured that your privacy is being protected. But as with anything, you must be careful and use at your own risk.
- drouk1556, on 07/06/2009, -1/+48✓ 4 people like this.
- slippeh, on 07/05/2009, -9/+53LOL..the only people who feel pain from not having a woman are people who don't have a woman, and don't get pussy otherwise.
If you're getting consistently laid and you have no bitch girlfriend..you are happy, not in pain. - Majora26, on 07/05/2009, -0/+44Or hoarding werther's originals in their pockets
- berryhill, on 07/05/2009, -2/+41I LIKE THESE COMMENTS SO MUCH I NEED TO SCREAM MY OPINION.
- RoboRay, on 07/05/2009, -1/+39And if you think about it for just a couple of seconds, you might come to realize that anything you put on the internet can potentially be seen by just about anyone and everyone.
- paulvq, on 07/05/2009, -3/+39Laugh out loud out loud?
- lead2thehead, on 07/05/2009, -3/+38Digg is full of illiterate people, so we can't assume sarcasm.
- dzhastin, on 07/05/2009, -0/+32Have you ever seen an older woman use a computer? Giving her a hard time for not making her Facebook profile private is like criticizing a giraffe for still using AOL. It's a miracle either of them get on the internet in the first place.
- UnWeave, on 07/05/2009, -0/+31First of all, he wasn't "undercover", so cover not really blown; secondly he's not set to become the head of MI6 until November, which was a publicly known fact; thirdly if you wanted this information badly I'm sure it would be possible. It has been blown out of proportion, somewhat.
On the other hand, who publishes their address on Facebook anyway? 'The hell, even I don't do that. My friends know where I live anyway, for one, but putting your kids' homes on too? Stupid woman, and in spite of what I said previously about it being blown up, it is a reasonably serious matter given his status.
On a side note, since FF3.5 the comment button has started humping the comment box again, or is it just me? - kr3mliyn, on 07/05/2009, -3/+28Steve Jobs did: - http://www.silvermac.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/0 ...
- noshowl, on 07/05/2009, -7/+32the word you're looking for is 'you're'.
- Ragzouken, on 07/05/2009, -4/+29If you use your imagination a bit I think you might be able to fathom her not realising the information was available to everyone in the London network.
- TDDebug, on 07/05/2009, -0/+21lolol
- Ishiguro, on 07/05/2009, -1/+22Women, can't live with'em, can't ...
- Ishiguro, on 07/05/2009, -4/+24now people have pictures of his family, ideas about where they vacation and live. People are generally protective of their family, so he might be compromised if trying to protect them. She opened them to danger.
- fredrockbluff, on 07/05/2009, -4/+23get back to the kitchen
- burntcookie90, on 07/05/2009, -4/+22lol man, NEVER leave out the /s
- skidork, on 07/05/2009, -23/+40I left out the /s. I thought people might get it. I guess not.
- allfatherblack, on 07/05/2009, -3/+18It's people in general, but I wouldn't be surprised if women are more inclined.
- Intamin, on 07/06/2009, -0/+14I love those things!
- twishart, on 07/05/2009, -0/+13To the ballet, maybe.
- asgardshill, on 07/05/2009, -0/+12I personally blame the Internet for this. Bad Internet, bad Internet. A good finger-shaking is the LEAST of what you've got coming, mister.
- JCPahl, on 07/06/2009, -1/+13Learn to spell, moran.
