I'll never switch off myspace and onto LC mainly because, I never befriend some random person on the internet that I don't know; All my friends use Myspace; I have NEVER encountered a cop or anything like that since I joined 01/05; Myspace has all my buddy's bands and my favourite bands, that keeps me updated with new releases and tour dates; and i'm already far into Myspace, Gaiaonline, Digg and other forums, that I have no interest or need to join a "myspace killer" that will never get the public power and community that Myspace has.

lc u lose - peterose, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0LostCherry is a disgrace! Now, myspace mind you has a lot of problems, but LC is by far worse. There's child porn on every other profile you click on. So many of the people on my friend's list have posted bulletins about it, and it's just a matter of time before this site is shut down. They don't stop the kiddie porn, if anything they condone it. I emailed them about a naked 16 year old, they said as long as she isn't 14 and her pictures are in a private folder it's cool with them. It's horrible.I wouldn't mind if it was naked adults, but naked kids, come on! It's illegal.. but like I said, only a matter of time until they're shut down.
Also there are so many fake profiles, and there are people who refer to endless email addresses which they created in order to be top promoters and score points.
The site isn't user friendly, the guys running it don't delete underaged porn content, and they don't delete fake profiles who are ripping off copyrighted images. So overall I'm sticking with myspace. lc u lose - Norva, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I use both. LC is sluttier. My friends there are on-line only. My MySpace friends are mostly people I know irl including co-workers so I keep my profile appropriate, pics of the kids, etc. It is easy to search for people I've lost contact with. LC is more fun and functional. The embedded IM actually works. MySpace's IM is always down. LC allows way more pics, yay! LC does not have blogs or a search feature, you're supposed to meet NEW people here, not get to know your friends better. LC scrolls through people who are currently on-line so you can just click on a random person and see if their profile makes them sound like someone you might want to casually chat with. I have trouble randomly finding someone new to talk to on MySpace. My point is that they're just different. They both have good points. I use them both for completely different purposes.

Then there is the issues with myspace always havin issues, you dont find that at LostCherry. If more of you people would take a second to check it out you would see what a truly awesome site it is!!!

Myspace ive been a member for bout 2 months now but honnestly i cant even remember my password thats how often i use MySpace the only reason i made it up was to see a few of my old school friends and believe it or not to see my little sisters pictures!! My space is a teeny bobber site for the young kids and for the pedos to search and encourage the younger generation to well.... we wont go there as for lost cherry the people there are absolutlly awesume!! you can msg any1 randomlly and know that they will be friendly ok im not gunna say we dont have any dramas on there because we do but ill tell u one thing they dont last long we all jump in to get rid of ***** like that do we ever make it on to the news because of ***** like that!? no we dont because we never let it get that far honnestly i think L.C is the best!!! In my opinion, LostCherry.com is not an attempt to kill myspace, it was created to be a place to meet friends, and gain appreciation for your talents from those friends, whatever they may be. The fact that it totally kicks myspace and tom's asses is pure coincidence. If you're a current myspace user, and you're tired of underage girls, bot friends requests, and ***** bulletins and emails, i suggest you join lost cherry. It is the best alternative for those of us with real lives who would like to connect with like-minded people via the internet.
- Eriens007, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Well I never normally liked online websites like Myspace. But had a friend tell me about Lost Cherry when it was just getting on its feet, so I joined and have been addicted ever since.
I have seen many of my friends Myspace accounts and never found the layout that easy to look at. It all was a bit crowded but that wasn't the reason I never joined them. I never joined Myspace because it was full of Middle Schoolers, High Schoolers, basically all the stuff that remined me of school. I join Lost Cherry and it never remined me of School, it wasn't crowded.
And since I have joined Lost Cherry updates it self almost ever week with something new and interesting. I have even had ideas that were added to it. Myspace, I have been told by friends, doesn't have the actual members ideas added. Well I like the idea that my ideas were actually liked enough to be added to Lost Cherry so another reason I would say Lost Cherry is better.
Now for the picture disapearing part that was said up there, a couple comments up, I have never had picture problems, so I have no idea what you are even talking about and I have been a member for awhile. And the reason it so addicting is not because of the points is because the people on LC actually seem more real then how my friend says people on Myspace seem. And yes there is those few people that are rude, but I have seen many of them get yelled at on the bulletins for just that, and another thing with the functions on LC you can block those people, and make it so only friends can view, and comment your pics and profile. And there is a reason Myspace doesn't have those kind of rude people, because based on the Middle Schoolers and such they are way to young even to do that.
Thats my say on Lost Cherry - Hottmomma4u, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Well I for one have bad tings to say for LC. I have had so many problems with it, never had any on myspace. On LC the pictures will disappear, it'll drag alot. I thought it was my computer til I went to 5 different friends houses and it was all the same thing. On LC I have been asked by several people to have sex with them, have been asked if I have any naked pictures of myself. Never had any of those problems on myspace. And why is it on LC people will complain about guys showing off their private parts but yet it's ok for a woman to show her's? And y'all say it's addictng? What's so addicting about it? The points? Big deal! Who cares about those points? And you people I swear will complain because someone rated your picture a 1 or a 2 boo hoo so what get over it. All I got to say is MYSPACE ROCKS! Lost cherry can suck my............ Needless to say I'm leaving LC and staying with myspace.

It has one of the best features from every online community I've come across, along with many unique features. Not only that, but compared to MySpace it's very "real", if that's the word. I've been on MySpace for nearly a year, and haven't had this much interaction with people as I've had on "The LC" in my short time there. If it had a forum, it'd definitely blow majority of other sites out of the water.

'05 and I think it is by far way better than My Space..with it's real live alerts,u don't have to wait for comments,messages,etc. it all happens the minute u hit send. There are no limits with LC (u know what I mean)! Everyone there respects and welcomes u with open arms. That's the main important thing here.. Have we ever heard any negativity about LC? I think not and you probably never will. It's seriously addicting and you couldn't go on with your day without logging into your LC account first. :) The layout is just right. The interaction on the site with so many people have been smooth - It never once gave me lag. I had not encountered any problems like I had with myspace whereas there were tons of technical difficulties. Myspace had tons of personal problems as well; full of pedophiles, underage cops, tons of fakers, and tons of underage users. It is quite a mix = a huge clash. LC has a variety of features that myspace has neglected to have. It's a REAL interaction with the users. I see myspace as a site to promote anything such as television, movies, bands, videos.. Where's the real people? I'd have to say that Lost Cherry has been a smooth sailing experience for me. I, Starlette will make this well-known and convince to get myspace shut down. ( I WILL TRY! ) LC Rules. Hands down!

Features attract users to "online communities" like this, but the overall experience and the people keep them there. LC rocks!

I meen just the other day Myspace had a 16 year old girl meet some guy that lived in Jordan.this guy was 25, he sent this girl money so she could fly over to see him, and she did! what I'm getting at is Myspace has sexual predators and don't even care! Now I'm with Lostcherry.com. not saying we don't have those types of people. but our deal is a community effort... hence when we find something like that we fight it until the problem is gone. I meen Lostcherry.com is just a cool site to be on.

- mzneo, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0When I describe LC to friends in comparison to MySpace, I refer to it as an online community as opposed to just the social networking site that MySpace is. I have been an LC user for about 6 weeks now and have found that the level of interaction with other members far surpasses anything that I experienced in over a year and a half on MySpace. It's nice to see members band together to oust users showing predatory or questionable behavior as well as lift and encourage their friends.
Last but not least, I'm impressed with how accessible site creator "Babyjesus" is. "Tom" shows up on everyone's MySpace friends list but I highly doubt he'd answer my emails. Move over MySpace....Lost Cherry rocks!
